Yesterday I got the Feather of the Blazing Somnowl in the Amirdrassil Raid in Dragonflight. When I used the item and went to the barber I couldn’t find the new flight form anywhere.
I already submitted a ticket, in which they adviced me to reset the user interface. Thanks to the Blizzard website, on which I found a step-by-step guide on how to reset the user interface, I was able to do this. When I logged back in and checked if the flight form was available, it still didn’t show up.
Customer support then told me to submit a Bug report on the official Bug Forum. Since there is none for Europe I thought this would be the best place to get help for my problem.
Anyone able to help me with this issue? Did I lose my transmog or can someone from tech support still fix this?
I just checked your mount collection and you don’t even have Anu’relos in your collection so how can you have the feather?
The feather doesn’t drop from the raid lmao. It only appears in your bag once you’ve learnt the mount.
You don’t have the form because you haven’t unlocked it. That’s why you can’t see it.
True, but I looted the Feather of the Blazing Somnowl from the last Boss Fyrrak. Not sure if it was a Bug, but I used it straight after and it didn’t unlock the form. Can you only get the feather when you get the mount?
No, you didn’t, because it does not drop from the raid. You only get that feather from learning the mount.
You are probably mistaking it for the Feather of the Smoke Red Moon instead which unlock a firey version of the moonkin form. Have a check to see if you’ve gotten that instead.
You don’t have the somnowl because you do not have Anu’relos.
Thanks for the info! I double-checked and yeah, it was the Feather of the Smoke Red Moon. After I used it, I couldn’t find the transmog anywhere in the barbershop, so I started digging into what the item actually did. I knew it was a feather, and immediately stumbled onto the Feather of the Blazing Somnowl—which made me think it was the flying form I was missing. Totally my bad for mixing up the two feathers
