tbh, I aways saw Anduin armour and homage to his father. Whether it was the same armor or not. It’s the Armor of the King of Stormwind.

I could have sworn I read that somewhere, but google was no help so I’m not sure now.
Well it looks Similar, and it’s not unusual for Blizz to update character models and armor.
Thinking back to it, I actually saw the BFA Cinematic before I knew that Varian was dead (I had skipped Draenor and Legion because Space Demons:) and work). So I remember think when I first saw it, “Oh cool Varians armour looks sick… of Anduin’s King now? Cool”

You all speak of class identity as it even exists anymore.
There is literally no point of restricting transmog items for any armor type.
Where is one legitimate reason is the concern for PvP and that’s about it. If you see a dude wearing plate you instantly can assume he is buff and HP pool is high, where in reality it’s just cloth guy with no resistances what so ever, and even now it is literally meaningless because everyone dies in 7-30 seconds while being stun locked

I don’t see why not. Death Knights can already use paladin armor and vice versa, so the class identity excuse is already moot.
What I really want though is the ability to unlock every piece of armor and weapon in the game on any character. It’d be a huge quality of life improvement.

Personally i want that both shoulder armor can be used each side.
