Or just place them in your warband bank and pick them out whenever you login to that class?

I presume it’s because you can’t open the tier tokens unless you are the right class.
I think this is a great solution. You don’t have to lose out on the transmogs, you don’t have to farm on specific classes. You can just go on your main and send it to your alt/slap it in your warbank.

Which still takes few unnecessary steps to get these appearances. Could be better…
It is great, but it can be even better, that’s why im not fully happy 
I mean they could just leave it as it is right now. Blizzard doesn’t care about legacy content (which is very obvious for anyone who actually looks at it). Be happy they do something about it because this company could just as leave leave it to rot as they do with so many other things.
