Traveler's Log & Monthly Reward (Oct 2024)

Basically my exact thoughts as well. What’s the point of GM’s if they can’t help resolve your in game issue and just get fobbed off with “wait and see” basically and it’s lucky dip if we get it or not. I don’t even really like the mount and probably won’t use it but it’s more principle of we completed the monthly task and got naff all for it :man_shrugging:t2: Penalised for playing the game as we should before they could see and fix the bug :woozy_face: Had similar experience with not looting a TW raid boss for the quest item and basically just told tough luck we won’t give it to you as you’re locked to the boss. Gone are the days GM’s strived to help you and make the game enjoyable and that you wasn’t just another sub

I am in the same situation, I couldn’t get the jellyfish mount even if I completed tall the requirements (I had my 1000 coins) and now I don’t know what to do. I read here a few days ago to not open tickets so I was hoping for a global fix but I am still without the mount and I can’t even find a way to open a ticket cause everytime I try it in game it says that my language isn’t supported and to look at the bottom of the page to change it but there are no options there. (Since when opening a ticket became so complicated???) (I am italian btw, sorry for my bad english).

What should I do? Can someone help?

As far as I can tell, using a another account with an expired subscription, I cannot access the Trading Post in the same way as my primary account.

This would suggest that the Trading Post is effectively the equivalent of a Battle/Game pass (time limited, paid for extra content) that in WoW’s case is included with an active subscription.

This is therefore content that I have a) paid for and b) legitimately earnt as defined by the progress track within the game.

Imagine, for moment, that this is instead a mythic only raid mount. A guild chasing the world first kill successfully defeat the encounter and, because of a bug, the otherwise guaranteed drop is missing from the loot table: no-one gets their mount. What would the development team do?

This happened to me aswell. I can se on my accountpage in the virtual wallet that I should have 7335 tenders but I have 0 ingame.

I have been submitting a daily bug report repeating the same thing; That I have completed the October Travelers log and have still not received my Depthstalker mount. I have been playing WoW for nearly 20 years and if it takes the next 20 of daily bug reports to get the mount then so be it. Not much else to do except to be annoyingly consistent and if I have learnt anything from the past 20 years it’s how to do a daily.

Same with me, I did the monthly reward very early on and only received the 500 tenders but no depthstalker mount. even after almost a week I still don’t have the mount. I can’t click the chest or interact with it in any way even after trying it on different characters and completing more tasks on the trading post.

I am one of the few players that was able to buy the mount and now has effectively lost their tenders as you already said. I am happy the devs are aware of this and really hope it is resolved properly soon.

Glad you are working hard on a fix for this issue.
I will sound like most i guess when i write this. But i completed the montly on the 1st of Oct. And the mount is still MIA sadly.
Patience is all one have atm, hope a fix is coming somewhat soon though. :slight_smile:

There’s nothing that you (or game masters) need to do. Creating a ticket will not resolve the issue. We’re all waiting for the developers to continue their work on a fix.

I know that you’re all waiting on the reward that you’ve earned, and I’m sorry that this bug happened in the first place. This issue happened on Tuesday last week, and will probably require a little bit of time to be resolved. I wish I could tell you how long this will take, however we know as much as you do right now.

We’ll be sure to update you whenever we have more information to share.

As mentioned previously, this is a known bug, and our developers are working on fixing players who were affected by this issue. There is no reason at this time to submit any bug report.

Also joining the no mount club, have opened tickets and they said make a bug report. I did make a bug report and got an automated response of “we will not be in touch with you further”. So I guess we wait and hope the missing mount will just magically appear. If not, I guess I will also start making new tickets on the matter. It was always my thought on the matter that they CAN give you missing items, they just generally do not do that due to various issues with people asking for stuff they did not actually have. BUT this is quite a clear cut case.

No change after weekly ID reset so waiting for Hotfix.

“We’re all waiting for the developers to continue their work on a fix.” yeah but i dont get why is so hard to fix this s***… absurde that we arent getting the mount neither after the weekly reset… hello? its being 8 day since this bug… so hard to provide a mount in a box if u have month stuff completed? im starting to thnk that this wont be fixed at all

more interested in nerfing time warped badges for alts, I really wish there would be an intricate detailed post of what goes into actually fixing a problem like this rather than my assumption of “has x player completed trading post and not get reward = send mount”

You could simply send the mount to every account with active subscription, I don’t think deleting a duplicate would be too hard for anyone.
But instead, we’re waiting for a fix that will never happen, and we will be short of a reward we deserve.

No fix, my Ticket got closed with the answer they cant provide the mount to me… and paying 13€ per month for this unique service

Thats true, GM’s are not allowed to give out items anymore. Only developers and management can, I believe, and neither of those can be reached via a ticket.

Still haven’t got my Depthstalker Mount. Completed the Trading Post on Day 1 and can’t loot the chest.
