TL system is funneling posters towards a pursuit and maintenance of likeability just so they can express themselves.

I disagree with this, I’m in a discussion in another thread about p2w at the moment. Most agree that WoW is p2w because of the token and I really disagree, my opinion is unpopular and I have three people telling me how wrong I am but I am not being herded to the popular opinion because of TL3 or fear of losing it.

I won’t, however, debate the issue in a manner that is combative, rude, “toxic” or goes against the ToS because I’m an adult and can argue and get my point across in a reasonable way that doesn’t lead to bans.

At least until I go back over to Twitter where I become a child

It will encourage some to behave yes, because they value being able to post gifs. We can even some who can’t behave being upset because they can’t post gifs. Clearly for some gifs is a good enough reward to want some to behave.

It is ridiculous IMO to suggest someone is fake because they can stick to the rules and express themselves without needing to resort to an expletive ridden rant. Nothing is stopping people from debating.

I know not everyone does, but I see TL purely as a passive, I don’t go out of my way to do anything on the forums. I just take part, most days, usually while queued for stuff or travelling in game. I have occasionally used the phone app but that has often lead to some hilarious autocorrects. Sometimes I’m too busy and I don’t have a chance to do much. But we definitely have a set of regulars.

Puny, you keep defending this when it’s really not that hard to understand that everything would be normal if Blizzard weren’t such cheapskates and would actually invest some of their record profit into forum moderation.

I don’t post GIF I couldn’t care less about posting them, although I’m not against posting pictures related to WoW, for instance posting a photo of an RP event, gear sims/races sims.
What I don’t like are those who overuse this feature to an extreme.

For me, there’s no need to post a GIF every two post someone makes. Sure, it’s their decision to post whatever they like but sometime it’s unpleasant in my opinion.

I don’t have a problem with the system, I’m expressing my opinion. We have also seen plenty of forum activity from blues in the last month or so. They are present but they work normal hours of course.

I don’t like other aspects, like I would prefer it to be bnet based like the other forums. But TL I don’t see any issue with.
