U can macro ice floes on other spells. Arcane surge can be one, or whatever u like.
Things are not " that " complicated anyway. But need to understand a couple of things first.
-Radiant spark: it does some dmg and it empowers 4 direct spells. That s why u cast 3x arcane blast and 1 arcane surge if it s available. Or whatever serves u the best. Do this on rune of power obv.
-Touch of magi is like a ballon. U want to deal as much damage as possible while it lasts. Especilly if u used the * spark + surge * setup previously :o) This is where things get exciting !!
There are other small details. But to start with, these two spells are the most important to understand , imo. Anyway, LEARN your spells and talents. U want to know and understand everything !

Hardest part for me was to watch all the cd’ s . For first that seemed so difficult to me, i was not sure if i ll ever manage. Many times i just stood at the fight unable to decide what to do with what. At that point i was not even sure if mage is for me anymore.
To improve u need to go , and try it several times, mess up several times, be the bad player several times. Do this only if u feel passion for it otherwise u ll be just a hater.
