PvP dev bias is obvious. If Warrior had the same popularity and performance as Ret, it would have been triple-nerfed already. Instead, Ret gets a slap on the wrist. Very disappointing.
Then why was it that last season at R1 standing there were 5 warriors and just 1 ret? And above 2400 there were 148 rets and 238 warriors? Where were you back then? Why werent you crying about your class being so busted?
Nobody cares about past seasons. If that is your argument then Kalligos is right with everything he is saying (he is anyways, regardless of what you say).
I care i claim that last season he was imbalanced and devs didnt anything about it, another lie ![]()
So? Two wrongs don’t make a right.
Actually when u think about it, it does make it right.
You when a person is very bad and he gets a electric chair it usually is the right play?
Yeah i know — everything suddenly stops working the moment its about rets. Better burn the archives and never show them again. You just cant beat a ret while playing lock. Its embarrassing sure, but it does explain your dumb stubbornness
No bro. Everything stops working the moment it’s about an specc that is ridicolously overpowered and this time it’s ret. It’s your own stubborness and bias that prevents you from understanding that.
U are not wrong, but it’s a defence mechanism because rets are a very hated spec since vanilla. Hopefully they will be picked in AWC and win, only then will it get nerfed. If ret can’t win with this “overpower” then it’s dogsit spec.
It’s about preserving fair treatment for everyone. When Warrior was overtuned and extremely popular, we were nerfed quickly and heavily ,which was the right call, since the class was too strong and popular across all brackets.
The exact same thing is happening with Ret right now, yet Blizzard seems far more lenient. If Warriors got hit with a hammer for being popular and oppressive, Ret should be treated the same way. Otherwise it sends the message that community feedback only matters depending on which class you play.
Closing thought: Rets even joked about shutting down their class Discord to get heard. Should the rest of us threaten to unsub for equal treatment? That shouldn’t be how balance is achieved.
Why are u taking a subset of ret players and extrapolate it to the rest? This is flawed logic.
Paladins have to have the best damage because they also have the best defensive!
Will I be good blizz developer guys ?
I don’t know the exact number of people who talked about closing the Ret Discord ,obviously not every Ret player. But the point stands: Blizzard’s tuning is inconsistent. When Warrior was overtuned, we got heavy nerfs. Even Arcane Mage receives nerfs next reset. Ret is just as dominant right now, yet the treatment is far more lenient.
Yes, you are right, the data doesn’t lie. It’s very popular. But when I face it in SS it’s actually one of the least oppressive classes to face. Like I would rather face them than mage or assa rogue, for example.
Fair enough . Mage and Assa are definitely oppressive to face in many lobbies depending on the class you play . But the point isn’t about which spec feels worse in SS, it’s about consistency in tuning. Warrior was nerfed heavily the moment it was both popular and strong. Ret is currently both, yet the nerfs are far lighter. That’s where the bias feeling comes from.
Warrior is kinda weak atm except for demolish, that spell is insane. Spear also.
arms is in a good spot , slayer arms with 4 set is the most fun ive ever had in arena in a while
hmm maybe, but when I see demolish it usually takes the guy down to 20% hp.
on higher mmr games its not all about damage, its about playing chess with trading cooldowns with oponents and slayer for me is fluid gameplay and peak fun experience, intervene healer right after rogue shadowsteped and wanted to kidney healer so i eat the kidneyshot healer was about to take etc.
But if you intervene and spam demolish on rogue you can absorb the kidney, that is 3000 elo chess no?
