i mean both are pretty balanced when it comes to which hero talent tree you play, its just prefrence but me personally i prefer having kick while bladestorm and stormbolt , makes me more agile with kicks and stuns
Slayer is my favorite also, but why do you say now with 4 set its awesome, 4 set for slayer is the worst in the game, most play 2-3 set and pvp or crafted pieces
Tired of reading this crap. The only proof of ret being broken are rage threads from 1800 victims. Real metric is how many r1 and 2400+ players a spec actually has at the end of the season. Last season it was warriors and our little blabbermouth kaligos at his cozy 1800 didnt seem to notice same as you so lets wait and see how this season ends then we talk. For now all i see is panic coming from shuffle heroes

Bro, if you make people in lower elo quit because of a broken spec, how do you bring fresh blood in pvp? If new or lower skill players just quit to one shots or 3 health bars + immunity, how does it help the pvp scene?

How low are we talking? At 1800 people dont get stuck because of paladins they get stuck because they havent fully learned their own dps rotation. Some specs like ret or bm hunter get a higher rating initially just because of how shuffle works. But that doesnt mean other specs cant do it — you just have to put in more effort. And if you dont feel like grinding then fine play those specs or just dont play at all. Someone else will push the real potential out of the higher skill cap classes. In any game there is always stuff thats easier and stuff thats harder. The spray pattern on an AK is way harder than on a P90 but for some reason everyone still chooses to learn the AK so they can onetap heads. Same with HOTS — playing raynor is way easier than alarak or kelthuzad, but he will never one-shot a squishy or cause nearly as much trouble for the enemy team. Hopefully that analogy makes sense

on mop but mop was that expansion when every spec could be viable and have their own nieches and i miss that and i wish they went with that class design with current talent trees , instead of some weird trinket and aura buffs to specs and nuking their utility to the ground and damage

It shoud represent fairplay and mirror of game balance, top players from there shoud go to esport AWC… So if it is competitive , fairplay must be keept, balance must be kept and it must be e-sporty.
There shoud be no room for privileged specs, even if 99% community play one spec it have no right to get free wins versus others, balance must be preserved by any cost. Only than respect will be earned. Anything other is breeding ground of hatred and disrespect and totaly not E-Sportish.

Exactly. And ret palas will never be good at AWC because their toolkit just doesn’t work for esports. While on ladder it’s completely overpowered.
