Is it true that the following command turns off the weather effects? So no more rain?

To answer you honestly, Yes, it is possible to change certain settings via console commands, but I would make sure that you backup your files before trying any of this, there is a strong possibility that you could completely mess up your settings if you are not sure what you are doing, a lot of this stuff can be changed in your normal system settings screen in WoW
It doesn’t turn it off but it removes the “eyecancer”.
There will still be a bit of rain. No more white wall of Deathrain tho.

Questing in Un’Goro in a PvP realm in heavy blinding rain is absolutely amazing. If my enemies aspire to get some kind of advantage by reducing weather detail it’s up to them, but I think they’re missing out.
