Is it though? I’ve never heard it used once as slang for them bits, as it doesn’t flow as slang, at least not in English, Slang has to flow, even if it is multiple words, otherwise it becomes an effort to remember it, at which point is it even slang?

Well, she’s not actually employed by them as such, she got given a couple of contracts to write stories, she actually works for the New York Times, but I agree, her opinions are racist, and sexist and she should certainly never have been granted a vanity NPC. The amusing thing is, that ‘White people need to be stopped’ was her response to a white couple naming their cat ‘Abracadbra’ claiming it was racist against ‘Arabian people’ in her words. So she is fairly historically ill-informed also. The use of the word ‘Abracadabra’ as in incantation for magical effects does occur in 1,001 Nights, which was written by people from that neck of the woods, -for- people from that region (Likely Iraq actually, Baghdad features a lot in it) however that isn’t where the word originated from! It’s first usage in literature was in the 2nd Century AD, by a Roman dude named Serenus Sammonicus, so err…Swing and a Miss…
They really are clueless when it comes to such things, I mean the clue is in the Title, He was the -Duke- of Edinburgh, the Prince Consort, not ‘King Philip’ just because he married the Queen, likewise Albert, husband of Queen Victoria was the Prince Consort. In both relationships they were consensual, and absolutely loving. Equally a Consort can mean someone of either sex who is a close buddy. It doesn’t automatically mean romantic or sexual in the slightest.
It can also simply mean you are in cahoots with someone, or a business arrangement. Hence the phrase in English Law 'Consorting with…(Insert criminal element here) or ‘Consorting with the Enemy’.
So in essence, Californians haven’t got a bloody clue what the language they nominally speak, actually means.
I see nothing wrong with this idea, apart from fear the contagion will spread.

OH GOD, this world is collapsing. One person gets offended cause of weak character and unability to deal with real world and instead changing themselves, world is changing for them… Movies, games, let’s wait till books will be rewritten.

A what? Blizzard has repeatedly shown, with in-game “easter eggs” that they are no Christian at all.
This is not because some protestant lobby in America pushed them in order to protect children’s innocence. If that were the case, why don’t they remove the Flynn/Shaw affair?

I mean that’s the logical conclusion of removing “offensive” content. When the playerbase is big enough everything becomes offensive to someone
It’s quite possible that these things have been put in the game by said people who were the cause to abusive and inappropriate behavior towards the other employees.
If these items/encounters/paintings were named by THESE offensive people, then I believe it is OK to rename/remove that.

It is an Americanism, consort, like “madam” have different meanings. You never say “madam” to a woman as it implies they’re an owner of a certain type of “hotel…”
Consort is also used like the word “escort” when its used to describe a certain profession.
I guess this is why it was changed.
But regardless, it looks someone has been hired to “clean house” and instead of using a spray bottle and a duster they’re using an industrial vacuum cleaner.
All rather ridiculous prudery.

The problem was not so much that she’s a Mary Sue(I mean all jedi are ones more or less), it’s that there was no development of her character. While Luke(and Anakin) had to train for the first 2 episodes before getting super strong, she was super strong from the start - never used a lightsaber but beats someone who trained for years, etc.
Nuke the site from orbit just to be sure. Slutmogs can stay.

Well, The Mandalorian wasn’t bad tbh.
Mando is the only saving grace and hopefully the spin off with Boba will firmly cement a good few years to come on the small screen.

lol what? Digimon is a kids show, it has never had a lot of depth (at least when it comes to the fighting). I wouldn’t say everyone is a mary sue, I’d say the latest season suffered mostly from too much filler and too much focus on the main character.
