Exactly this ^ problem is though, they are effectively 'sterilising ’ the game instead of looking at the in house issues (although they are taking steps to rectify it).
Almost as if they are saying ‘Hey State Prosecution, we are cleaning our act up so take it easy on us’. As Saraelle said, it’s just trying to curry favour in return for a possibly lighter punishment

It’s definetly what they are trying to do but it actually just making it seem a lot worse. It feels like they are making changes to appear like they are doing something while at the same time still completely ignoring the list of demands set by their own employees on how to improve their workplace.
All just a performance to try and distract people and I am still bafled that they keep going with it instead of noticing that people aren’t buying it.

They are trying way too hard to recover.
The thing is, about every gaming or any big company got problems with stressed coworkers and drooly bosses. Its not unique.
If people are mad at Blizzard and wants to quit their products, might aswell live in the forest because this happens everywhere.
I am not defending this type of behaviour. What every single big company needs is a constant watch BY the people.
Install a big camera at the higher ups office so normal people, not lawfirms, can keep an eye on them.
On the german forum someone made the joke, that next the harem in the black temple will get errased. Now I find this not anymore funny.

Do you think this has to do with the lawsuit? I mean, maybe they’re doing this not so much for the players or the image of the brand, but rather as a helpful resource to defend themselves in court?

Am I the only person who played this game for years and even farmed Big Love Rocket but never got the reference if there was one…

I mean I would have never thought of it myself, but I guess “love rocket” could be a euphemism.
The real question is what if after all this another controversy happens and they have nothing left to remove in an attempt to make them look like they really do care.
I don’t know what they’ve done to adress the actual molesters and harassers in the development team but I know what they’ve adressed in game.
I think it’s the combination of those things which make it all seem so hollow (silence on what they’ve done with the actual problematic people and instead removing ingame puns and refferences) like they’re doing the changes just so they can hide behind them later as you say.
I hope that’s not the case but man does it look like that’s exactly what’s happening

No fights, only hugs, you can’t kill anyone in pvp, basically, because pvp fights became the fights with Dazzling Rod, and each boss in raid will just tell his story to the players instead of fighting them
