By that logic, since the majority of the content was introduced in WoW by the designers who are today disgraced (on an unrelated note, I’m surprised everyone already concluded they are guilty just based on accusations…), you would have to remove most of the content of the game, 99 percent of which has no sexual overtone, if you consider that they contaminated each and every thing they worked on.

I wouldn’t have said offensive, somewhat crass maybe. But I can see how in these times that it would be changed.
On the other hand I don’t see how Consort is in any way risque. Having twins is somewhat unorthodox for sure but I just don’t see why it should change.

wow is more and more losing its identity for me. all the fun stuff gets eradicated.
it seems like blizzard hasnt even understood the whole problem they re facing. theres a difference between removing characters/names associated with sexual harassment and making blanket statements/actions for everything. for them its either all or nothing. black and white. which is really sad because the issue is nuanced and it shows they havent understood what the problem is/was at all.

Aside from the fact that the Love Rocket (or X-45 Heartbreaker now) is an urban legend anyway, Blizzard’s moves against any offensives now are more and more ridiculous.

I don’t agree with the consort change, I can understand the references with the rocket but where I live the term " consort " isn’t really an offensive thing and it can be applied to male and females.
At this point I’m not sure what else can be said they’ve gone off their rockers.
I always find it funny with americans that decapitating people or hacking axes in skulls with blood everywhere is perfectly fine but say a “bad” word or show some cleavage and it’s the end of days and of the DEVIL.
My next bet in the list is the combat sounds Argent Confessor Paletress makes, weird the rockets name was changed before them.
Well, at least the name will be accurate now. This mount has broken many hearts over the years.

I had to google what “consort” means, and it means… a wife/spouse. So twin consorts is… incest?
If they are willing to go this far then I have no doubt in my mind they will be updating skimpy transmog outfits so they are no longer revealing in 9.1.5 or in 9.2.
Blizzard is acting stupid now. Someone needs to remind them that this is a 12+ rated game. Not Roblox. Mildly sexual references in WoW is fine.
