Has the perk every influenced your race pick?
It did, once ever, when I created my Hunter who did Loremaster and all the Reps up to BfA (got those on my Paladin) she is now an Orc as I simply don’t like Alliance currently.
I remember when the Dream rep came out and many went human to grind through it faster. Some did it on an alt to give their main the faster gain perk up to renown 10 or whatever it was.
lol. for the first time i decided to main a pally human for this single purpouse and diplomacy will go away???
im 99 rep and missing the last one. blizz doesnt want i reach 100!

I picked human female for their tanking stance at the end of classic.
The reputation bonus never really was something i picked it for.
Yes it was nice for certain reputation farms, but i race changed quite alot even when new content came out or when i was farming achievements.
So it doesnt really matter to me

unfortunately im doin avengers of hyial with a LF draeenei and shadowpan somethin with this toon… i should race changing but actually is too expensive. ill try to buy some tokens with TW weeks.
Yes, it’s the reason I’m Human right now and the reason I was planning on sticking with it for S1. Now I can swap though.

It’s a nice perk, but Diplomacy has never influenced my race choice.
Most of my characters are human because that’s what I picked in vanilla, except for those classes humans couldn’t be. Hunter, Druid and Shaman (during tbc before any “smart person” comments).
I even picked an Elf for my first DK because it looked cooler than the human DK.
Aesthetics have influenced my race choices more than anything else. I seriously dislike the way some races look and move, so I have never picked them.

That’s just a bit… sad.
Not sure, we saw all kind of race changes over the years.
for race to world first aswell, as much trolls as possible because of the haste buff for example.
certain players will min-max every little detail.
I can’t be bothered with any of that stuff, I just do it on my main regardless

It has influenced my rep grinding for sure, in particular when combined with buffs from anniversary, Darkmoon Faire and/or weekly timewalking. I’ve also had good use of it in Duckflight for the renowns. Sad to see it go, will have to wrap up some reputations for sure before TWW hits.

I imagine a lot of people really wanted their flying back ASAP. Was one of the expansion’s highlights for me, though didn’t rush it.
