I dont like it because teh map get more overcowded,
Best map was during Map with only 4. continents, in every direction and the Malestrome in the middle.
Blizzard shoud have put the new landmass on the backside of the map to start over.

The part above Kalimdor is looking mighty barren. Good place for continental map expansion.

Think it’s been hinted at or at least speculated before that Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdom are supposed to be on one side of the globe but with how they’re adding in new landmasses it could just be that it is indeed a globe spanning map.

I don’t. Cinematic has shown us that whole map on basically the front side of the planet.
So there’s a backside to Azeroth; Asseroth, if you will.

Looks like they can fit about 3 more islands before they find the other side of the map.

I’ve been to Ulduar and seen it in action on a globe too.

So what do you think is ‘beyond the storm’ then? The running theory is that is where Avaloren in located - probably the homeland of (leaving this part out for spoiler reasons).

That’s to the west of Kalimdor and wouldn’t logically fit on that map unless they widened it considerably - or made a ‘other side of Azeroth’ map.

I suppose we’ll know for sure in time. :slight_smile:

I honestly don’t care, but I find it odd that people see a flat map and say oh there is another side. When we ourselves have global maps flat like that.

I think they will chop and change Azeroth as they see fit to make more expansions. I’m fine with that.
