One thing to consider is that Northrend has an arctic climate, so we can assume it is on the north pole.
However, Pandaria has nowhere near a cold climate. Then we should conclude that it is not at the south pole, but more like close to the equator. So that even if its the full globe we see, we just see the northern hemisphere !
Or there is an obscure reason for why Pandaria does not have antartica-like climate.
Would be nice if they actually could add in seasons in wow but i guess that would be a huge undertaking.
For now there will always be winter in Winterspring while its autumn just south of it in Azshara and spring/summer south and west of it while its also a forever winter in Dun Morogh in the middle of eastern Kingdoms.
Oof, yeah. Cool indeed, but thatâd be a lot of work.
Theyâd have to determine what kind of climate every zone has and add appropriate seasons for that, etc. because it wouldnât make much sense for (for example) Volâdun to have snow in the winter.
Iâd settle for just more weather effects overal.
Depends on how Azeroth is tilted and how its sun shines the continent. Also depends on the CO2 and other greenhouse gases in the area. For me the season is not clear either. Maybe we are playing during the summer. Or simply Pandaria is not at the south pole at all.
