We need Ukrainian language!!!

I support this initiative!
I personally know people who have stopped playing Warcraft because they no longer want to play on russian servers, and on English-speaking servers it is difficult for them to communicate with other players and they have problems with understanding the storyline.
Ukraine has a very large population. Therefore, I am sure that if you add a server with a Ukrainian interface and voice acting, many former players will return and new ones will come.

Yeah, the one in the Middle East was pretty much “legal”. Not sure what forms did they fill in though, was something about “fighting terrorism”

I own no invasions, so, there’s no “my invasion” :frowning:
Also, calling a leveling of cities a “liberation”… Well, I’m glad such opinions exist on the net mostly

How do you know who I’m supporting? Are you a psychic?
Notice how hollow your assumptions are, based on nothing but lack of intelligence?

So please add the Ukrainian language.

Your name alone says what you support lol. And never admitting Russia’s blame.

Yeah, Buddhism, chakras and inner harmony. What else can I support when I literally have a Buddhist temple for a name?

Yet another meaningless assumption. Ask me directly what I think of the war, and I’ll tell you (guess you are just not capable of thinking rationally)

Nah, no need. Keep loving your Tsar while playing western video games.

Keep being oblivious and blatantly ignorant :kissing_closed_eyes:

If you are against it, don’t say it here. No need to put your freedom at risk for a wow forum dispute.

It’s not that I’ll go to prison for stating my position. But things can go South if I start criticising the gov in a not-very-appealing way

Oh really? then why did the ukrainians restricted russian language in Ukraine despite the fact that milions of russian ethnics lived there, why did they bombed for 8 years the russian ethnic majority areas and killed thousands from 2014-2022 and I should go on but lets stop politics here…this is not the platform for this.

There are several reasons why adding Ukrainian language support to Blizzard games and Battle.net services would be beneficial:

  1. Increased Accessibility: Adding Ukrainian language support would make the games and services more accessible to Ukrainian-speaking gamers, helping them to fully understand and engage with the content. This would also help Blizzard to expand its reach into Ukraine and other Ukrainian-speaking regions.
  2. Improved User Experience: Providing localized versions of games and services can greatly enhance the user experience, making it easier for Ukrainian speakers to navigate menus and understand game mechanics. This can lead to higher player engagement and satisfaction.
  3. Increased Sales: Localizing games and services can result in increased sales, as more people are able to enjoy and understand the content. By adding Ukrainian language support, Blizzard could tap into a new market of Ukrainian-speaking gamers.
  4. Cultural Understanding: By making an effort to include Ukrainian language support, Blizzard can demonstrate a commitment to cultural understanding and inclusivity. This can help to foster a more positive relationship between Ukrainian-speaking gamers and Blizzard as a company.
  5. Competitive Advantage: Providing Ukrainian language support could give Blizzard a competitive advantage over other game companies that do not provide this level of localization. This could help to attract more Ukrainian-speaking gamers to Blizzard’s games and services.

I love the idea. It would be fantastic to see Ukrainian language. I made i18n changes in the past and it’s a very small budget increase. The effort is also comparatively low since you only need to replace one string with another. We need your support, Blizzard and it’s not about the war, it’s about making our experience better. Thanks in advance.

No, there wont be ukranian language support, there are few main languages in the world like english, french, russian, chinese, spanish and arabic, ukrainians like other ex soviets can read easily in russian so there is no problem on accesing content, close this nonsense topic.
