Unable to log in since latest patch 11.1.5

Have been playing with no issues for years. Since Wednesday’s (23.04.25) patch 11.1.5, I can log in but I just get a flashing black screen (menu bar appears and disappears) and the music plays. However I cannot progress to the character selection screen.

I see, let’s try forcing this option with a different methodology that should not require editing any file. Can you please try the following steps? On the Battle.net app, click the gear icon near the “Play” button Click on Game Settings Activate the checkbox for “Additional command line arguments” Enter -compat in the command line argument field Click done At this point please try the game again

Thanks for the tip. However, Battlement updated itself again and that seems to have solved the problem.
