Undead for the alliance

So, looks like the alliance are getting Lightbound Undead as an allied race. Seems a bit odd; but I’d imagine it will make alliance a bit more popular all of a sudden.

Still…‘tis April 1st…Blizz could be trolling :slight_smile:

Well the post only exists on wowhead and contains purple orcs/humans so I think that’s a preeeetty big dead giveaway already. Blizz’s april fools are usually quite dramatic and come out a bit later on in the day if they do it :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Plus they don’t have anything new on their bodies, justs light recolours, even on the underwear.

Proper lightbound undead are a possibility in the future though. Not a guarantee, but a possibility.

Though - I would not be surprised if the Lightbound Undead turn out to be true at some point :slight_smile:

Wowhead’s april fool’s joke was pretty good though. I especially liked the number of haircolours available :slight_smile: … it’s almost as if they’re making fun of something else :open_mouth:

Despite the date, that was the first thing I thought when they raised Calia as a Lightbound undead… here goes a new Allied race for the Alliance.

Buuuut… yeah, the date.

Obviously april’s first joke, it’s just recolor of hair and body, they usually make the races distinct in some way, look at nightborne and void elves. If it were true, opposite would be undead night elves most likely, though with nightborne already existing, some sort of living human alternative would make more sense, or “Nathanos-like” undeads.

Undeads belong to the horde for a reason that normal humans cant live with em and hate em. Light or not, they belong to the horde.

But alliance will get undead, skinny humans will be added due to kultiran pressure, they’re a literal undead texture

Yeah, they already have racial leaders (Calia Menethil + Derek Proudmoore) and could be based on the “thin human” model.

I’m not shaming the thicc, they save me on their toons more than others apparently. I was saying that the skinny version (like the bar guy in freehold) have the undead skeleton for their model. I won’t glorify or hate weight difference as I like my girls with broad hips and a bit of weight. I only say it’s a problem when it’s morbid obesity. Please don’t stigmatize me ;-; I mentioned the skinny model without a word to the original kultiran, I was acknowledging that people wanted the other version and that there’s a fair chance we’ll get it
