Hello guys. Finally after getting tired of faction unbalance, around 35-65 on my server that led to various problems, I’ve decided to finally reroll Horde and join The Banshee Queen on the winning faction.
As you can see I like to play Rogue, but I can’t decide between Undead or Orc. I think that the Orc’s stun resistance and the Blood Furry are juicy, I still see most of the Rogues from Horde playing Undead. Personally I don’t feel like Will of the Forsaken matters that much with the addition of the PVP trinket that remove fear. That gets me so confused. Is the Undead race that OP for Rogues on the Horde side?
Also, I pref male Undeads and female Orcs due to not being that chubby as male Orcs. I simply cannot imagine a male Orc trying to sneak behind anyone without being spotted : D
Thank you for reading this and I hope you have a wonderful day!
Why would you roll a faction that literally has no one to kill on the other team? So you can run around for hours looking for 1 guy to kill? Wow… sound so fun…I bet you will have even more fun when bgs come out and you have to wait 1hr for a bg to pop on your new horde character. But if you have your heart set on being bored out of your mind then the answer to your question is orc is better for both PVP and PVE since stun resist is OP and bloodfury does nice extra damage.
I don’t think it’s such a big deal now with the addition of PVP trinket, but strong argument indeed. The Will of the Forsaken can save you one trinket slot.
Thanks for your opinion!
I’m not a heavy focused PVP guy which only live to kill players from the opposing faction. Initially I wanted to play Horde, but my friends convinced me to play Alliance together then miserably quit after 1 month and a half of gameplay. Even though I like the zones of the Alliance, I want to see how Horde side looks. You know what they say, the grass is always greener on the other side. I really love Sylvanas, as a character and her lore, also the blood elf race, can’t wait for TBC to be released. Who knows, maybe they will add Race Changes with the addition of TBC (if confirmed). It will also be easier for me to start a new character given that I will have a guild to back me up instead of playing on Alliance then moving to Horde without knowing anyone. I’d rather level up peacefully withg less chances of being ganked, also more players means more people do dungeons with. On Alliance I have to wait around 30m to assemble a team for a certain dungeon. If I feel like I want to PVP, I can gank someone anytime, also BG are coming soon.
When it comes to WotF, the true stengh is that it grants immunity as well for its duration. A lock for ex won’t be able to spam fear. Whereas if you trinket the fear, you get a second one back to back. Cannibalize is also awesome for leveling and quick heals.
And finally, vanilla forsaken actually look good. Contrary to orcs.
But orcs are awesome and better for pve and pvp. But if you want easy wins against priest / locks, UD is the way to go.
I don’t think this is tryharding. Contrary, playing on the winning faction is a casual experience as you have more players to do dungeons with which lowers the time necessary to assemble a team. I invite you to reroll Alliance and try to find a team in less than 15m on the less populated faction. Also, you can level easier without the fear of getting ganked on a 3:1/2:1 H:A server. I would say if you want to tryhard and really want a hardcore experience go to Alliance and try to go to BRM without corpsewalking on most servers. In case of raiding a certain area I’d rather have more players to call in case that you need reinforcement. Most Alliance players are too coward to show up or they are busy minding their own business. I honestly don’t blame them as it’s pointless to go somewhere to PVP if you know you will get outnumbered anyway and eventually lose the fight.
It’s way more convenient to play Horde instead of Alliance in Classic.
I see you are very salty at horde because they dominate your server. You see I play(ed) on ZT, it’s vice versa for me. And still I woulnd’t want to change faction. I don’t judge you, it’s just not for me.
You accused me of tryharding earlier and now you claim that I am being salty. Explain in further details how am I being salty at Horde. I’m just presenting facts that are occurring right now in the WoW Classic on the winning faction. I didn’t say anything bad about the Horde or blamed them for the unbalance gameplay as far as I’m concerned, just presented the perks of being Horde at the moment in a peaceful way. It’s up to the players to choose which faction they want. I’m adapting to the situation. Also, explain how am I tryharding since I’m switching sides in order to get a more casual experience.
Human Rogue Roleplayer adding to the cancer that is horde oversaturation. You’re just going to make it worse for yourself and everyone else on horde. Use your brain and stay alliance.
I think Warlocks and Shadow Priests are your biggest enemies, and thus will of the forsaken is pretty big. Orc Rogue’s are pretty decent against other Rogue’s, and HoJ etc.
I could swear UD rogues deal more dmg in PvP cause they look so badass, but I might or might not be wrong about this, it is entirely impossible to tell.
I made an orc rogue (male cause they look funny), got to 14 and engineering 150… Then i realised how much im going to miss WOTF from my mage:O Now im unsure what i wanna do myself…
And just a random thing. I`m one of those guys that want to play Alliance, but i only have friends on horde…
That does sound better than the alternative, which is not being able to quest from 48-60 and being the one guy that those 10 other guys are roaming around looking for to kill.
