I was going to be rank 14 next week, but I was affected by this because a group I joined today made a dishonorable kill. My logs in the event can be examined in my logs, I did not make a move that would get a dishonorable kill in any way and I did not shoot and kill anyone.
In order to be rank 14 next week, I will have to earn another 418000 honors for 8%, I don’t deserve this when I haven’t done anything.

blizzard won’t do anything to you. it is what it is. that’s why I don’t join groups.

Unsure how to reach them, but there has to be a way to get their attention somehow. Thousands have encountered the same issue as me and you. Might be a good idea to team up and figure something out. Otherwise not sure if anything will be done. Their ticket reply time does not make any sense, same with the inability to get them to a live chat.
DK mechanics is stupid, but it’s there. There’s no exploit or something, so it’s unlikely they would change anything. May be ban offenders for griefing. Prepare to grind another week.
@Havök I have got a reply in another forum thread. The support are not going to help us out in any way, so got to grind again next week.
I think civilians should not be killable and also not allowed to agro them. They should just stand as rocks and be able to give quests etc forever. Only guards killable. That way people could raid cities and bring world pvp back.
Would rather be interesting if actually killing low level players (gray to you) would count as dishonorable kill. Now that would fix griefing and ganking and that is definition of dishonorable kill to me. Unless that gray player attacks you first and tags you then you can kill him back without DK.

R14 is not supposed to be healthy game experience. It’s already too easy.
the underlying Problem here is, that people know exactly how to gain Honor, how much they need etc.
The system was built when barely anyone knew how it actually worked, and all people knew was “more honor = higher ranking” So while people tried to get as much honor as possible, they didn’t know just how soul crushingly much honor they had to get and played whichever BGs they liked most of the time
They should either remove the whole system or allow GMs to take away DHK’s from players that clearly had nothing to do with it
See this link above. Stuff goes way too far. This affects only a few people, thats why blizz doesnt care, but just look at this. People that join a group to get WCB having to do north of 1.2 mil. honor extra.

I say deal with it. Blizzard already have helped you immensely by removing honor decay, honor brakets etc, which resulted in every single average joe and their friend to be r14 nowadays. Compared to what you had to do to get r14 back in the day, i’d say afking in AV for another week is nothing. So stop your whining. 99% of ppl don’t deserve r14 in the first place anyway.
Would you rather have blizz give your r14 for free or something? Would that be a “healthy game experience”? Clearly you have no clue what it meant to be r14 in the original game, otherwise you wouldn’t complain because the current system is nowhere close to the original one. If you want the game to hold your little doll hand every step of the way I suggest you go back to retail.
