these challenges were an absolute joke at the end of legion. nobody cares, just give em out to everyone instead of catering to 40 year old boomers that have nothing else going on in their lives. and yes, i do have the achievement and mage tower wep equipped on my current char :))

Somehow a 10 year old transmog is more important than the poor performance and buggy launch of this so awaited Legion Remix. We are paying a subscription for this poor service right?

The best solution is to bring big monumental rewards like this periodically - once per expansion, or once every other expansion. Make it a Mage Tower event. Bring it in, with ALL previous rewards available, and maybe remix and rework the challenge itself a little. it’s minimal work, can fill a smaller patch just fine, and keep recycling old content like this by still keeping it novel and exciting, but removing the “If I don’t nolife and get this right now, it will be gone forever!”, because everybody will be secure knowing it will be back in 2 years or so, so they can take their time to enjoy it and prioritize what they like.

Is this what you expect the community to think? Obvious rage bait don’t mind me it’s just infuriating to think there’s a single reason for this to be locked away if not for some higher up clique wanting to feel special. If you trully want to make the game more welcoming to newer players, how about first cattering to the ones actually giving you money? Make the public opinion about this game one of respect and one who feels listened instead of provoked and joked on.
For a game with at least 20 years the leadership should know better.

Yeah, but people who don’t might not like the new colors, or like the old colors better. Giving a “different version if a reward” is always an unnecessary complication. Giving the old rewards, alongside new rewards so everybody has something to work for, is better.
If it’s a regular event, they can even make it so where you can’t easily get every single reward this iteration, so you have to choose what you like best, and leave the others for next time when maybe older ones are discounted, and there’s even newer ones.

Yep, its among my few favorite set, and just now lost its value, now everyone will/can run with it. One of the few mail sets that actually look somehow. And with rare crimson color.

There is no prestige in an easy challenge that you had to be active for 10 years ago.

Blizzard gives a cosmetic due to a bug, thousands of players use it, and then Blizzard takes it out again creating 2 negative experiences for both sides, who want it, or don’t want others to have it. I’m about done with remix, as I wasn’t even hooked, and not worth to play it, when I already get a negative experience so early.
Maybe I’ll renew subscription, when you fix the game in 12.2 after beta phase is over of new ui changes.

I was about to cancel my sub and never return, but seeing its a bug and will be hotfixed made me stay.
All the crybabies can ask for new forms all they want — but not those from Legion.
This whole “I must have everything at all costs” attitude drives me insane.
I still remember attempt after attempt trying to clear the challenge, because it was clearly stated that it would no longer be obtainable — and that’s exactly how it should stay!
I know that 10-year-old “Johny” wants to have everything and is super vocal on the forums, but that’s not how things work. There are plenty of beautiful other forms that are still obtainable, and it’s completely fine not to have them all!
We’ve been playing with the default skins for years before Legion, and it was perfectly fine. Now some kid sees something shinier and suddenly it’s: “THIS MUST BE MINE!”
I’m completely fine with Blizzard adding other forms — cooler ones, higher definition, more effects, whatever — but the Ghost of the Pridemother should remain as it is: no longer obtainable.

There’s definitely some very sad people out there who’se whole purpose is to gatekeep, personally I find it kind of sad and pathetic, it’s just a game it’s not like it makes you rich or prestigious.
