Because saying it like ‘‘Yes, lets just make it all generic’’ makes it sound very sarcastic.
Well this was always my issue. The truth is, I guess you could be a character who uniquely decided to train as something shunned in their own society (Tauren/Night elf Warlocks particularly in mind), especially since most new players will start at Exile’s Reach now.
I would find it a tiny bit sad though. Also everyone would be Blood elves and Humans.

Every Race should have every Class, and option to use everyones hairstyles, skin colours, garments, jevelry, tattoos, dance styles, attack and casting animations.
On top of that let everybody transmog and use any item possible.
Why?
Because it ADDS MORE player choice. It makes game BETTER.

Some are against all classes for every race, due to it removing RPG elements. So it’s completely subjective that it’d become better.

Yes its both depending who’s opinion it is. If you want RPG elements go play BG3. WoW is all about PvE or PvP combat and how you wan’t to shape your appearance in game. Nobody is ever going to tell you that you look cool in WoW. Never ever.

It is only warlock so far. Minding that every race has gotten in touch with fel magic by now and if it comes with an Eredar appearance for Draenei it at least would make sense but I still find it silly to underwhelming. And I’m surely not the only one.
As long as the Draneii warlocks lose their touch of the Naruu ability (renamed to Brand of the Eredar), I am fine with them falling from grace.
Lightforged though… Why they don’t selfdetonate, I will never know.
