Literally only because of the Rares you need to kill. A Rare pops up > Everyone rushes there with their Flying Mount > Already dead when you arrive there.

I have not yet unlocked flying on Zereth Mortis but what I do right now is complete quests campaign and while I doing that I kill rares that popup BUT I ignore any rare that pop up too far away for me, for those a few hundred yards away it is possible to arrive before they are dead even in a ground mount.
