2 days ago I started having lag spikes that last from 1-10 seconds every few seconds or so, it increased in Raids and M+ to the point of lasting until the end of the fight. This lag has persisted from then all the time with world ms increasing to thousands whenever it spiked (home ms is perfectly fine). I tried powercycling everything (restart router, unplugging ethernet, restarting PC and game,) and scanning/repairing WoW, and made sure all graphical settings are low and my drivers are up to date. Basically tried everything to solve the problem on my end. One thing i found out is that when I pinged to any other website it was very stable, but when i pinged to eu.battle. net there were Requests timed out on the exact instances I experienced Lag. Then i tried Tracert to eu.battle. net and found this:

Same here. There is some funkiness going on. Ever since last update it has been freezing every now and then to the point of dying in instances and open world both.

last thursday the same thing started happening to me. the game is very unplayable like this. i uninstalled and reinstalled jesterday and so far it seems to have helpen a little bit.
I have high lag and canât play at the moment, usually itâs very low⊠unfortunately it will be the usual problem with the transit servers that Blizzard uses in Europe
Itâs back for me as well since today, ever since I first tried logging several hours ago, I connect from Italy and I noticed these issues only happen on blizzard servers (example if you log a wow private server, latency is fine) and are usually, at least in my country, only for some short occasional periods, the country is also relevant cause usually when a person from a country stops having this kind of lag issues, the other people from that country stop having it too.
@Riudyn, indeed the usual problem, mustâve happened 4-5 times in the last year here.

zero problems with other game, got fiber ottics in home 1000 down 300 up
the tracert it shows that the servers beyond the Alps are totally saturated, it is not clear why Blizzard does not have other ways to activate in case of problems

Here it seems fixed, I notice youâre also in Italy, but I live in Bergamo, is it ok for you too now?
Yesterday it was about 600-1k ms for me, used urban vpn connecting from denmark (as the people I know from that and other countries never have such issues when italy does) and it improved to 100, much better, and now even without such vpn it seems to be back to my usual 25-30.

I live in Rome. This morning I had the usual 30 ms, now at 12.10 in the morning itâs already at 200 ms. It means that today it will definitely go up a lot. Because usually I always have 25/30 ms of lag at any time of the day. Like other times you have to wait for these guys from the servers in the middle between Italy and Blizzard to do something.
Blizzard seems to totally not care

Same. I live in the north of Italy. Yesterday afternoon/evening couldnât play because of the high latency. This morning was fine and around 12 pm it increased to 400 ms. I assume ainât gonna be able to play anymore for todayâŠ

Youâre right, I spoke too soon, this morning it was indeed fine, but in the afternoon itâs bad again, I have 400\1400 atm, so not solved yet and as in the past it also depends on the traffic there is online at any given time, so better overnight\early morning.
Venus, you could try a vpn, can maybe reduce latency enough to be able to do not too difficult content.

Same thing here in northern Italy playing on Defias Brotherhood server. Problem started yesterday and still going strong today. Fiber optics 1000gb, only having high latency in wow, any other game or application pings less than 25ms. Having to miss raid night and m+ for now⊠really annoyingâŠ

I did, but the latency is around 200/300 ms. I mean, I can do easy stuff like wquests but as for the rest Iâm unable to play properly sadly.
