So what if someone outperforms you? How the F does that affect your life? There’s still 8 months of BfA to go.

What would you say if you raided in TBC or WotLK with ONE CHANCE per week (!) to drop a weapon that boosts your dps by 20%? And then you’d not be getting it for months, while everyone else outperform you?

Now you have an unlimited non- stop shower of loot and you need around 1-4 weeks (depending on luck) to get geared.

there are people who actually want to play the game on a high level, and if they don’t get lucky the only way for them is to buy BoEs, may it be with gold or real money.

Only a small subset of the set of possible corruptions are guaranteed on raid drops from bosses though, which is unfortunate.

And my raid characters only ‘damage’ component corruption is tank weapon from maut and off-spec weapon from… what was it … Raden ? And I am ok with that. I know they are there - in this boss. I have to kill this boss. It is ok if item does not drop, but I know that if I come back, I have chance, or maybe someone can trade me this item.

I have spoken for and supported ever since the targeted system approach and it would give whole different level for corruption system. It this wild RNG that has pushed me edge on quitting as I cannot keep up. My co-tank has all the bis damage corruptions. And what i get “void ritual” and that’s not even max rank.

have my maut weapon, but that corruption is not very high damage output.

I don’t get either of my bis corruptions from the weapons from the raid, which again is a big oversight IMO. But yes intellect users who can wield a 1h sword can target IS.

Kinda only world first guilds, but then again, they most likely have bilions of gold already in their reserves for stuff like BoEs.

I realy do not care if someone buys tokens to then buy boes whit good curroption, becuse most of the time, those who do it aint that good players anyways, some are but a lot aint. they just happen to have a lot of cash, what is kind of hilairous becuse theese items are more or less redundant in about 7 to 8 months time anyways, might be even before that.

A LOT of things can happen in 7 to 8 months, I may be dead by then for example.

It’s not a good argument to say they’ll be redundant then, it’s relevancy works for things that last at best 1 month.

I ran almost 30 runs ( from lvl 2-13 ) and i didnt get a single somehow good corruption item

The BoE’s are not the problem but just a simptom of the system overall. BiS pieces have been BoEs before but they never gave you a 20% dps boost. The balancing of corruptions is godawfull and the overall idea of isn’t interesting atleast to me. The RNG aspect of it a nightmare. While the ideas with the vendors and the 100% drops do sound like good sollutions the major problem (the one where 1 item is doing 20-30% of your dps by passively procing from time to time) is still there.
