That’s a paddlin’ of the highest order right there.
I fear nothing
The Orcish ancestors were all K’ure’s illusion… (!!!)
Jokes on you, I’m a Naaru as well.
You are gonna fear sitting down once I am done.
How dare you label Rezan a Naaru D:<
He is a big Naaru
I know right, Rezan is far worse than that. Died like a chump too. :^)
There’s an implication that they started lightforging dwarves+humans+kul tirans. They show up as ‘Purified’ units alongside the Lightforged in the drustvar invasion.
Servant of N’zoth.
But gameplay wise, wouldn’t work, sadly. Especially since the game will always be Faction wars, even if we’re in the afterlife.
Though for RP, that sounds interesting. Neutral means a faction that’s not in conflict with either side, but will defend itself if engaged. (Passive and Hostile are the extremes of ‘neutral’ groups)
I mean it makes sense that all races with enough devotion can lightforge. If you can lightforge a dreadlord.
All paladin/priest races getting lightforged customisation options?
I’m not saying Blizz are planning it but I wouldn’t be leaking it if they weren’t:
i thought it was unpopular opinions??
Give the Alliance lightforged everything, give the Horde undead everything #Forsakenlife
…
The Humans should seperate and be their own faction, so the rest of the Alliance can live in peace without the inferior race holding them back.
You think you’ve got problems…!
We were being governed by a bunch of corpses. Can you begin to imagine the humiliation of it…Highborne of the second largest city of the Kaldorei Empire, being governed by a bunch of zombies?!
To build on this:
- Rise of the Horde mentions that Velen’s followers numbered only in the hundreds when they escaped Argus. Some died during the escape.
- This group then split on two, the future Lightforged being one of them.
- IIRC it was mentioned that a large amount of Lightforged perished when the Genedar crashed and again during the final assault on Antorus. Regardless of how many survived their prior 25,000 years of cosmic warfare, it’s safe to assume the majority of the Lightforged died on Argus.
Even assuming:
- they get children (seems very likely)
- some of the Exodar draenei have become Lightforged, which is probably not that many; they too suffered great losses + the Lightforged ritual is said to to a dangerous challenge even for some of the greatest draenei warriors,
it is indeed still quite likely that there is only a very small number of Lightforged draenei remaining.
On one hand, I agree. On the other, I do think the presence of the Lightforged provides an interesting dilemma for the Exodar draenei. Will they seek to emulate their “superior” brethren? Or will the draenei as a whole follow Velen’s path, and eventually come to believe that there is a difference between faith and blind faith? Perhaps they will even argue for a balance between Light and Shadow - something which undoubtedly sounds heretical to their fanatically devout brethren.
Even if Blizzard doesn’t build on this, it’s certainly fertile ground for draenei roleplayers.
At least, until Blizzard ruins it all with a swift stroke of the figurative pen;
omg… the Lightbound is so evil, we will never be like that, we will be better!!
Hence effectively eliminating any significant difference between the Lightforged and the regulars beyond their voltage levels.
I recall a debate on this not that long ago.
The vague numbers are imperfect and potentially contraindicated being what came of it.
Sylvanas did nothing wrong.
