I think that for someone new and ānot devotedā as you say, who just want to start getting into low keys and raids should not be too worried about having everything sorted out.
Remember that this game is a game based around a community, that is why guild and communities exist, because you will find player with more knowledge that help you grow.
That is why discord of the various classes exist, there are ton of people exchanging opinion 24/7 on every spec.
I agree that the game is not super friendly at start but Imo you should not see it as work that must be done alone.

Unpopular opinion: Donāt flatter yourself - They donāt care about community, they want your money, so just give us a game that is easy to connect with people and fun to play. If people want to make permanent connections, they can continue to do so, there is nothing stopping you.
