Hey just wondering is it intended for pvp conquest cap reward to be 280? Seems a little weird that it rewards gear lower then world quests by quite a bit. Thanks.

Conquest rewards for the first week of the new PvP Season are an item level 345 weapon of your choice from class options. We're working on a fix to display the correct item level.

We can change weapons? Appears to just be an ele weapon.

Once you reach 500 Conquest, you'll be given a quest to return to The Mugambala or Hook Point that lets you choose your weapon. The one displayed in the UI is just an example of one option.

We're currently working on a hotfix for Rated Battlegrounds. We'll have that as soon as possible.

Today, we hotfixed Khor, Hammer of the Guardian to iLvl 120, to signify it as a transmog item.

You can undelete previously deleted weapons using self-help service here:

As further clarification:
The item we changed was a special alternate version of the mace that doesn't appear in the Dungeon Journal. "Khor, Hammer of the Corrupted" remains entirely unchanged and is a standard raid weapon.

We're reverting the previous hotfix to Khor, Hammer of the Guardian and implementing a different fix for the issue. Details here:

Is there any clarification we can have about what the intention is with Light of the Protector in raids for Protection Paladins? @WarcraftDevs
it heals + increase with up to 200% depending on current health.
But in raids the 200% is reduced depending on how many players in raid?

This issue was hotfixed late yesterday, and a similar fix for Hand of the Protector will be live shortly.

We've updated our hotfixes blog post with the latest hotfixes made to World of Warcraft: Battle For Azeroth, including all of the recent PvP tuning and adjustments made to some Uldir encounters:

if I don’t hit conquest cap on my alt what happens exactly. Does my new cap for next week become 1000 instead of 500? And so on til Im caught up or I just completely miss out on a weapon?

If a character of yours doesn't hit the Conquest cap, you won’t miss out. You won’t lose Conquest or the chance to get the Conquest reward for this week. If you wanted to, you could wait three weeks and then accumulate the Conquest for three rewards in one day.

Is there any particular reason why mana drinks wont work in rated battlegrounds, even the ones which are used in rated arenas?

A hotfix to allow level 120 Water purchased from vendors to be usable in Rated Battlegrounds was applied to the live game a couple of hours ago.

We've updated our hotfixes blog post with the latest, including class balance adjustments that will go live with weekly maintenance in each region:

https://worldofwarcraft.com/news/21973195
https://twitter.com/WarcraftDevs/status/1039562245552857088

is it a bug or intended for the m+ weekly catches to have only 1 pieces. Many of my friends and guildies only got 1 piece. We thought it was up to 3 pieces.

For a few weeks in the Battle for Azeroth Beta, the chest dropped more than one item. The intended design and behavior of the chest is to award one weekly high-end item, just like it did in Legion.

https://twitter.com/WarcraftDevs/status/1039649864718544901

For additional context and clarity: this change was made months ago, during the BfA Beta, in response to player feedback that a random chance for 1-3 items in the weekly M+ cache felt bad for players who only got 1 item. The cache has only rewarded one item since late June.

Today's hotfixes include an iLvl 320 minimum to enter the Warfront queue and significant boosts to healing and health effects on several trinkets:

https://worldofwarcraft.com/news/21973195
https://twitter.com/WarcraftDevs/status/1039731333336104960

This will appear in our -next- hotfixes update, and is already live with weekly maintenance in each region:

Warlock - Affliction
Deathbolt's damage now only counts up to the maximum base duration of your DoTs.

A few minutes ago, we applied the following hotfix. This will appear in our next full hotfixes update, and is now live:

Uldir
Fetid Devourer's health, and the health of Corruption Corpuscle and Mutated Mass have been lowered significantly in Mythic difficulty.

Why Rank 3 recipe (for Alchemy at least) cost 1.2k gold but use the same materials as rank 2? What's the point of adding Rank to professions if you don't add any bonus to it? Same thign for recipe from WQ, Rank 3 don't reduce mats requirements for ANY recipe

In Alchemy specifically, Rank 3 recipes give you an chance to make extra bonus potions, flasks, or other items (sometimes lots more!), instead of reducing the materials required to make them.
