I’m just curious about what do you think if this will gonna happen anytime soon, but would be cool if Blizzard could update the old horse mount models, wolves etc… and Stormwind city with the Draenor garrison graphics + the old zones like they did with Arathi. It looks so much nicer and up-to-date. I would like to see Goldshire and Elwynn Forest with those updates. I know it takes time and resources to make such a huge work but if they could’ve hired 5-10 people to give back the old zones their deserved beauty it surely would be awesome!

They do update older models, obviously - but only when they’re needed in the newer expansion. But I would like to see some updates too, especially some tree models from Cataclysm which can be replaced with WoD-trees.

If anything needs a graphic update, then it’s centaurs and gnolls. Those poor chaps are such an eyesore in this day and age.

Overall I think the Game looks pretty decent.
There are a few things though.
Firstly, the default sky in the old zones… seriously, fix that. Come on. That needed an update in like 2006.
Secondly, some player models could use more customisation options. My race is a great example of this - we have literally 1 face geometry option, and it’s a quite goofy one at that.
Other than that? Maybe a couple of old models here or there.
No, WoW’s current problems are mainly in its gameplay.

I do really hope that Blizz give us a bit of old content graphics update with each new expansion, if not everything at once haha
Now that they’ve been adding some new dragon models, how about updating the dragonflights 'cos boy, they old. And Kalecgos… he has not aged well.
Whole Azeroth revamped. Replace all Elwynn trees with HQ ones. If that changes the whole look of Elwynn Forest, I don’t care. There is Classic if you want to feel nostalgic while being in that zone. Imagine Silvermoon in HQ omg! And most importantly, re-texture all vanilla & tbc armor tmog so that it can fit.

I second you. I really love the new WGS and AB Battlegrounds. They look amazing. I hope other zones remodeled and match the new WoW.
Also, I wish if they remodel the classic PvP mounts, especially the Black War Kodo

Just update the f animation of Consecration already .

So raiders can choose if they want the old one to check dangerzone pools better or go with the updated one.
I couldnt care less about updated random animals around Azeroth anw.
I think they should start with the paladin class mount. I mean the old one. How dope it would be with today’s physics and horse model. My goodness…

They probably are working on it, but they do in batches of importance.
Next in line is probably old zones, like updating the 2D trees and the capital cities.
Horse mounts that 1/100 players use regularly is probably last in line
There is alot that could use an grafic upgrade, but as mentioned it will take time. Something that can get a faster upgrade is the small cutscene you see when you start a new char. For example - In the humans start up scene the narrator still mention “the return of Varian Wrynn”, and for Orcs its still Garrosh that leads them… Last they updated those was in Cata - 10 years ago! Not even the first cut scene lasted that long xD
Cmon Blizz you dish out awesome intros all the time! So gettin new ones now should be a piece of cake!

It’s weird how much difference something simple like a skybox can make but it looks really good.
Also as a fan of somewhat more simple looking gear I’m really hoping they’ll someday get around to maybe updating the old classic textures.

Would be awesome but I think they are still afraid of making a Cata 2.0 with too much time spent on leveling zones and not enough on end game content
That said they confirmed in interviews or Q&A during BFA that they for the time being planned to keep on updating zones when it made sense (like the WF zones or vale)
Would love to see more updated zones, but doubt it’ll be the focus of shadowlands.
We may very well end up being lore-wise all the time in the shadowlands, so any updates zone would make very little sense in the story as we’re not supposed to leave it before 10.0.
That said they may continue to update BG like they did with WQ, AB and the panda one
my priority for this game is to fix server lag. ah lag, bank lag. nobody cares about how old horses look when ur instant spells take 8 sec to cast in the vale of eternal blossoms
Considering the replacement character models and animations would be in my top 5 things to revert, no I’m not in favour of letting those graphics … people … loose on more models.
