Upgrading gear in pre patch content is not fun

you seem to have no idea how popular those idle games are

and how much money people spend on them .

imo blizzard huge mistake with their failed mobile game is that it doesnt have any sort of idle progression . thats why most people abandoned it almost imediately .

So does other peoples behavior in this forum towards me. And slowly, I become sick of it and retaliate.

My toxicity is born from the actions of my critics.

When someone posts on this forum, they express their opinion to all of us. And in that case, the person is indirectly addressing all of us.

People don’t respond any different to my topics. Should I go now around my own topics and say “Oh, I didn’t speak to you, stop commenting in my topic”? I will never do that, because that would be quite egoistic. I can’t prevent others to respond to my topics (and I also don’t want to). Yet here you are, telling me I shouldn’t make use of the same right as everyone else. Wow.

First of, that reputation I already have since months. Second, I am not throwing “tantrums”. If you think that is a tantrum, you never have seen a man actually angry. Because a real tantrum would be more volatile and insulting. As I also said before, I did simply respond to OP in a similar manner like OP wrote his post. And that was in that case a mocking, sarcastic tone.

If you and others can’t handle negative comments on an english forum that is used by a variety of european players with different cultures, then I don’t know what else expectations you have.

I just certainly hope that you don’t think that the world is all “sunshine, lollipops and rainbows” usually. Because that’s not the world nor humanity works.

Because look right in the next response I am being called insane. And I don’t take any offense in it:

Yes, the system is fine. As I suggested before as solution, if the event would drop flightstones too, the not-Dragonflight players can upgrade their gear and the Dragonflight players can upgrade their. Both sides win that way, yet people reject that idea that makes mathematical sense.

As some food for thought, do you think a Dragonflight player playing the prepatch right now would rather play the DF content they have been playing for months to upgrade their gear instead of playing the prepatch? Why do you want them not to earn flightstones there for their current (better) gear? You are basically forcing them to keep playing DF content with demanding that PPG (Pre-Patch Gear) should only need event currency…

So do others.

So do I sometimes, if people really annoy me. Go ahead, make use of the block function. It’s there specifically for the reason when people can’t work it out with each other.

There are certainly games for that on the market. It’s just WoW shouldn’t be that game. Otherwise it becomes boring (as in, no reason to play) really quick.

I know exactly how popular they are, because their developers pay me to keep their servers online.

But that doesn´t mean that every game has to be one, just like every organized sports event doesn’t have to be Cricket just because it´s the most popular

I totally agree with your statemenat about not having idle prog being one of the biggest issues with Rumble…

But WoW is not rumble, or a mobile game, nor designed around afk-progression. The mere fact that it´s possible is already kind of a very mild slap in the face to some, apparently enough to get really insulting towards (percieved or actual) AFK leeches in the Event.

Which is IMO understandable, because the whole point of a traditional RPG, MMO or not, is to actually play it and progress… not stand around doing nothing and watch the rewards roll in. Why ever leave the tavern and kill the gnolls if the gold and +2 broadsword of demon slaying just fall from the sky?

upgrading gear in general isn’t fun since it all goes down the toilet as you level and new content releases

Even between season is not fun since the 1st lfr give better reward than the hardest previous mythic raid boss gear with the upgrade 4/5 6/6.

The game has become a seasonal product…

Thats price you have to pay for having so many difficulty levels.

No difficulty levels = no power inflation. No power inflation = low difference in power during expasion. Low dif in power during expansion = no need for catch up gear. No catch up gear = you gear progress dont reset and if you gear progresion dont need power reset you dont need seasons.

As i already stated the OP did nothing to you.

Rise above it and act better.

Still gives you no reason to act as you are , read above .

Seen plenty but the actions you give are not of a man…

There is being negative in a polite way which you have still to understand :man_facepalming:

Which wether you like it or not counts on EU forums as trolling,

amen its very dumb that they don’t fix this.

My issue with the prepatch is the HP points of bosses, is crazy never seen so buffed up bosses that take 20 minutes to kill at times. Even the small ones have 200-300 mil HP
In Shadowlands prepatch to DF, the gearing was so smooth and fast…this is a let down.

Likely a thing due to players complaining in the past that they missed out on boss kills due to flight distance or loading times for zone switching. So that those players have more extra time to get there and land a tag.

They’re popular indeed.
But all I said is that WoW isn’t that, it’s an RPG.
To play it with that expectation is to ask for disappointment.
