Am about to purchase shadowlands epic edition and i was wondering if it’s not against the TOS to buy the game from the US shop and play on EU servers , i am used to using that method in Hearthstone and it’s not against the TOS as far as i know .
It is not possible to buy anything with a different currency and apply it in another region at World of Warcraft.
I have read somewhere on reddit that you can, if you were to be in Russia which is still EU but useses us dollars instead of euros.
The Russians have the choice I believe to play on the RU only version which uses Rubles or the EU version which uses euro’s.

Sounds to me like someone on reddit is lying because anyone who posts here often sees posts like “I bought a code for $49.99 and I can’t use it on my account”.
US codes cannot be used on an EU account.
