Besides the glitch of the backdoor in alliance base, there is another “glitch” to pull Vanndar without killing the adds.
I have seen this strategy used only by the Russian servers until now and maybe that’s why I didn’t see any post on this forum about it (I am sorry if I missed it otherwise) but how long before everybody use it ?
There is a NPC in the entrance of the alliance dungeon on the right side who gives you the blue reward once you won the bg one time. This NPC can be pulled alone and DPS until 10/20% when it will run away directly to Vanndar, pulling him without calling the adds! Then the horde just need to tank the boss on the right side of the dungeon and kill him in a record time.
The horde does not bother actually taking any graveyard because they are coming in mass (almost no defense on their side) directly from the backdoor glitch and make it almost impossible for alliance to defend either.
This is not actually a glitch because no exploit is used but I don’t really think it is working the way it was expected to.
I have two questions about this:
- is this possible on Drek’Thar side too?
- What the alliance should do to counter this ? (Already tried to defend, but nobody care thanks to instant queue :”just quickly lose and play another one”)

Its already possible to pull drek without the warmasters although the wolves always go with him.

I actually hope two things by posting this.
First that blizzard fix the backdoor glitch and the pull without adds… (… sweet dream…)
And more realistically, that the alliance realizes that the rush strategy is no more viable and needs 5-10 people to defend its base.
The only time I asked if it was possible on the horde side, I heard it needed an exploit…
Is it the same strategy as the alliance?
What you actually accomplished:
Tell horde how to do it.
Is it faster than insta rushing drek?
Never seen it be used yet.
I do think though (from hear say) that Drek can be killed without having to pull the adds too?
Been in many games with a perfect rush from Horde side, not even a single GY or tower captured by Alliance and we are only just pulling the adds, and “Alliance wins” pops up.
First few days were very fast games indeed.
Well im seeing vann single pull for like 2 days now, the backdoor glitch is just a cute little bonus, good luck to defend against 3 backdoor glitch location and the bridge.
Just make sure horde pulls the 700 elites near the forge and then wipe them.
There is always a retard who pulls the whole area, i will forgive those who only pull stable masters but when all unnecessary commanders are brought in we waste time killing them when we could kill the marshals. Even when it comes to maximum honor there is no point wasting time killing those npcs when you actually get more from killing Vann.
I can recall how many games horde threw away because you always have that one idiot who doesnt know how to get to vann without aggroing. I am exalted now and can’t be more happier since I will never set foot in a vanilla battleground ever.

This will not be fixed, horde must always have have an unfair advantage - that is how the game is intended

I just stated that every horde mongrel does that, sounds tripple funny after all “Honor and glory” roleplaying farts that come from your faction. Nothing to butthurt about, i’am pretty familar with average horde behavior.

Literally crying about “you has advantage” in every damn phase.
It was clear on day 1 of AV what way the scales tipped, alliance taunt topics, revenge for phase 2 topics everywhere.
Horde then adjusts tactic accordingly aaaand we’re back to alliance flaming “unfair :(”
Get a grip already…
Its cool, just use the winter veil snowballs to push elites into aggro range or vann out of his room to reset him.
