Ven'ari rep on alts

So umm… let’s say that I switch mains… do I have to rep grind in the Abyssmal Maw again for me to be able to grab hold of those Sockets?

Like… the upgrades are already account-wide… but sockets are not? And neither is the conduit upgrade item thing?.. why not.

I’m asking because like, first off it costs alot of stygia, 2nd of all why cant they just make the rep account wide or make the on-use items blizzard account bound so I can send them to my alts, without having to regrind rep, like Is the stygia farm not enough? xD

Just don’t switch mains… or live with the consequences,

There’s too much catch up already. We need more “You snooze you lose”

Yep, If you want the torghast upgrades and acces to other parts of the maw.

The shadowlands just is not alt friendly. So don’t bother with alts

No… We want precisely the opposite of that. If someone wants to come and play Shadowlands now they’ll have a pretty bad time. Same goes for alts. Why are people so keen on making the game inaccessible to others?

Game isnt inacessible. Youa re just lazy. MMOs are not supostu be played way that you have 5+ chars and all of them on compettive level regardless of your spec. Alts were and are just to spice up your game they are not ment to be at same powerlevel and progression level as your main wihtout putting in 2x more time.

Ve’nari won’t allow it, all alts must farm that precious stgyia.

She’s barking mad.

I’m not lazy, I’m doing it all and spending 30hrs a week playing this game. The problem is that won’t last. No one with a child or particularly straining job commitments can keep playing this game.

You say alts are meant to be behind. That’s your take, not a declared design choice for Blizz afaik.

Yes it is deckared desing for mmorpg games. And Blizzard clearly follow this desing. You dont get to use more characters what can be compettive without putting in more time. No just it ruins progression for our main character its also unfair to player what focus just on one character.

Not all of us are without jobs and families, and lives in our mother’s basement.

Ion has talked a lot about catchup mechanics in covenants, but I haven’t seen him mention The Maw at all. There needs to be something here too.

If you have job and familie just accept fact you cant swap mains or play many different characters. Its your fault you dont have time to paly game not Blizzard.

Look after your mental health, yeah?

If Blizzard is making the game only playable to losers without no life, then it is their fault.

Game is not playable just for people what have plenty of time playing game. I have job and GF and i play game just fine. But you want to play game way its not intedeted to play by sitting on multiple different characters what can potencialy rivel your main. This type of way of playing game is not for casual audience and never was.

No… we do not.

We don’t necessarily need to skip things, obviously, but it’d be awfully great if timegating wasn’t a factor when trying to catch up.

This is where the blizz store could come in, Would be amazing if you could buy renown, Rep tokens, anima, stygia, soul ash, gear etc there. Easy and fast catch up in exchange for money for the people who slack or those that just want to progress faster.

I wish i could upvote this reply 100 times

Let me stop you right there.

Keep the ingame shop as is because no one should “buy” their progress, that would make elitists even more elitists because they hold money, those who control the AH market who are filthy rich will control who gets to tag in for dungeons and raids and those who don’t have money will be left behind, yes the “poor” people can make a group, but it’ll be HARDER for them to achieve it as it’ll take long.

The ones with money will just pull a Revendreth and go “Oh, you’re poor… So, about my shoe, it’s dirty, please shine it and I might let you in on the raid…! Not. Now shine it poor boy.”

I’m sure you have some form of income superior to those who have a smaller income (or no income at all), but no one should have access to “P2Progress” type of shops :stuck_out_tongue:
