Venthyr assault quest thrown down landing DC (can't log back in without DC again)

I got disconnected and get instantly booted again as soon as I log back on. I did the Venthyr assault quest where you’re on the ramparts killing 4 ‘bosses’. After I finished that, I got to the big guy and he throw me down to the ground and I instantly got DC when I hit the paving.

I have tried logging back in for 25 minutes now but as soon as I enter the game I get disconnected again.

I did managed to see that my character is dead.

I also want to add that this is far from the first time I have disconnected from landing. Apparently it’s an anti-cheat thing. Frustrating as heck, especially when it happens in a quest Blizzard themselves have made. Usually I can log back on though after a few tries.

Same happend to me, after logging in several times it kinda worked. now my venthyr assault is buggy as hell. completed all quests for the venthyr assault. quest is still stuck on 3/4. i can talk to draven he flies with me to the platform but i cant go through the mirrors nor fight the big mob.

Venthir Assault DC loop bug

Posting this here so that i can link to this post in a bug report due to the 500 character limit. There is a bug in the Venthir Assault that will cause your character to instantly DC and get stuck in a DC loop. Fixed, couldnt log in for a few times on the character but its k now. By the way a parachute would be cool when the npc throws you down. I guess i could have survived the drop, but i was looking at tv with the expectation of a safe landing.
