Verbal abuse by Blizz employee is oke? But

While it is bad pr and will inevitably result in disciplinary action given the abuse Devs get on a daily basis I fully sympathize…

It’s almost as if a lot of people like to dish it out but don’t like it back.

Look, I’m all for freedom of speech, but the problem is;
Let’s say someone makes a rude comment about ‘black women’, or just ‘white women’ in fact… then all of a sudden you get branded as a racist or sexist or misogynistic.

Equal rights means EQUAL. That is my problem with some of the things that are happening in our world right now.

I mean it’s not like she’s going out and saying “I would like to officially state that Blizzard’s opinion is that all men are bad.”

It was her opinion. I don’t like it, but it was her opinion.

My issue with Blizzard is how they cancel just about half of their employees for anything under the sun including fighting for democracy, human rights, defending themselves against accusations of rape, and goodness knows what else. However that, uniquely, was okay.

That reflects poorly on Blizzard. It does.

But Blizzard doesn’t have to play that game. The Blizzard I used to know didn’t. They just wanted to enjoy video games, do some philanthropy, and didn’t take political stances. And if they start by not firing employees for having unpopular opinions about me, that’s fine.

But it didn’t really stop, did it…

it would be something else if he made a tweet alone saying hes an assH. but commenting under someones tweet telling to harass asmomgold is something else.
Maybe that dev have learned from this now when the community came after him, shame

I doesn’t take much for that toxic poopgap community to come after someone. Blizzard would be best to just ban Asmongold until he gets a grip on his destructive community. Sending T&E death threats is something I will never forget, and now his community actually threatens an Blizzard developer and they’ve already locked him out of his bank account.

The dev is right about asmon. He spews fatphobia, targets people who put pronouns in bio, tries to justify using the R-slur etc. There are a ton of people that rush to his defense and say he has changed and gotten better… No he hasn’t. No he’s not just playing a character. Asmon is nothing but bad news and Blizzard do best to just get rid of him.

stopped reading there

Ah another one of his fans spreading lies - literally no one said to harass asmongold. Try again.

I fixed what you said because what you wrote was meaningless and uncalled for .

I did, but guess you’re gonna be one of those weird bigots that hates furries too. They stated for people to be wary and report him and his fans IF they broke the game rules as they are known for doing in every game he moves into. You should know about that being from Argent Dawn with him disrupting RP events, unless you’re one of those people that rolled here with the sole intention of not RPing and disliking RP.

You made a very excellent post, until this.

There’s something about Twitter … social media in general, perhaps, but especially the knee-jerk, half-conscious reactions that Twitter encourages. Or perhaps the people who most hang out there do so because of an inherent cognitive or emotional defect? I don’t know, but people say stooooopid stuff on Twitter. This is just another case.

I would never call for anyone’s firing on the basis of one Twitter post, no matter how deranged or spiteful.

Anyhow, Asmongold acknowledged the correctness of the observation. :stuck_out_tongue:

The guy exhibited a lack of judgment, which we can hope is short-lived. I’m sure he has already heard more then enough about it to act as a speed bump the next time he feels like venting.

have fun here, that weirdo furry got it all

I think they only one “triggered” here is you with your constant mocking remarks and being unable to debate in a calm and cival manner .It really shows a lack of adult vocabulary to keep using the words you are btw .
Weirdo? Furrie ? triggered ? please learn to converse and speak in an constructive manner .

It’s just frustrating the lack if misinformation the people defending Asmon and stating how bad the Blizz employee is - along with the original person that mentioned people to keep an eye out for Asmon and his fans and to report bad behavior. Which WOULD be good for Asmon in the first place given how many people had been trying to disrupt his gameplay too just like they do in his WoW events.

They talk about how bad Blizz is now because of people like ‘him’ working for Blizzard and tweeting at him to worry about fixing the game before talking on his PERSONAL twitter about someone else. Like he doesn’t even directly work on the game.
