I noticed a problem on all female characters including mine, since the new patch.
There is a strange vertical line passing through the middle of the char, that makes it look like its split in half. Its very noticeable when viewed from a distance and at an angle. I noticed that bug on male character models aswell.
My settings : 1920x1080, MSAA 8x, Preset 7, 144hz VSync.
It can be seen best when wearing a shirt, or a slim piece of armor, like the Treebark Jacket for example, or some darker robe.
When I change the Scaling to 200%, the line becomes less visible but its still there when looked at closely.
I would appreciate any help!
Thanks!

Hey Mallenia,
Could you post a screenshot showing that?

Turn off MSAA and tell us if the line still exists?
If the line still exists with MSAA disabled, put scaling back to 100% and test.
There are some weird issues when combing different forms of AA with the in game resolution scaler enabled.

The line is always there, I tried each and every setting. I always play with scale on 100% and MSAA x8 and I never had the problem, no matter the settings. It appeared with the new update.
So, what now? I reported the bug via the bug report ingame. I have a few friends who also have the same issue. Will it be fixed soon?
Which video card and driver version is this?
Its a Zotac GTX 1080 Amp Extreme. Driver Version 390.65.
Can you post a screen shot of the nvidia Control panel showing the "adjust image settings" section please
I have the same issue! Both with my character and gear.

Contacted WoW Support on tweetler.
They asked me to reset UI (the only thing that did was destroying my UI, ofc I had a backup), then to report the bug on EU forum. That's even worse than the in-game bug report option.
Please, if you are reading this and have a similar problem, keep reporting it!

Hey guys,
If you have reported this through the in-game bug report tool then it will be looked into.

Right. I've been reporting another bug weekly, had a forum thread in two parts, then boycotted the game for half a year: https://eu.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/12808650797 ..and still it took devs 2 years to fix my character's 2D portrait.
I wonder how long it'll take to fix the white line.

Here's the part of the character I see all the time when I'm online.

Did you contact the EU or US Twitter? The EU one aren't likely to ask you to report a bug on the EU forum, they'd know it can't be done here o.O
Of course I've contacted US tweetler. The only one that responds and can actually forward something to the devs :)
Well, @WarcraftDevs is the twitter account that the developers actually handle so you could try dropping a message there as well though they don't respond to everyone, if you contacted @BlizzardCS I'm afraid they won't take bug reports either just like the EU account (though both are manned and respond).
Thanks, actually I've tagged both @BlizzardCS and @WarcraftDevs but it was @BlizzardCS who responded.
Update!
The bug affects only certain items: this gladiator belt has the line https://i.imgur.com/Z1Tjuhz.png, but the alliance normal arena one doesn't.
My current belt transmog also doesn't have any lines.. unlike my tabard.

While this is true for my Undead, on my Gnome I can see the line on both normal and elite arena belts.
So it means the bug is connected to items and character models.
Yeah, I would say that the bug affects the character models themselves and its more or less visible when wearing certain items.
Though, I think that what causes it are some changes made to the character models.
