HOTNET ISP Israel, periodical disconnects, like once every hour, also very difficult to log in, have to make 5-8 attempts before it works. Random ping spikes, normally it is around 70, sometimes it jumps up to 5000. Funnily enough it says in here https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/blizzard/t/nov-27-hotnet-isp-high-latency-disconnecting-from-battlenet/2238/127 that those issues were fixed.
Apparently not. And what’s even funnier, I can’t even submit a ticket, it always says

An error has occurred. This may be a temporary error, so please try again later.

Also, I’m including my WinMRT logs for all 3 EU servers that are listed and I’m ready to provide any necessary information by request. I’m sure that I’m not alone having those issues, if you are having similar issues, please post in this topic.

Hi.
I thought to get back to game and start subscription.
I logged into my 20 lvl character and wanted to check what is going with game.
Then i joined Dungeon Finder, found team and started to do it.
But after 20-30 min I got disconnect.
I closed the game client, run it again, logged into game, picked one of my char and tried to enter world, but again got disconnect.
After 10 - 20 min i tried the same steps, and got inside world.
And latency monitor show around 10 000 - 20 000 ms home latency / 70 world latency . During around 30 min playing home latency got to it common value 70. I repeated all these steps many times to check.
So, steps are -
1 - Log into game.
2 - Pick character and enter world, latency home 70 / world 70.
3 - Start dungeon.
4 - After 20-30 min playing dungeon get disconnect.
5 - Log into game.
5 - Pick character and trying to enter world.
7 - Get disconnect.
8 - Wait 10-20 min
9 - Log into game again.
10 - Pick character and trying to enter world
11 - Enter world, latency home 10 000 - 20 000 / world 70
12 - Wait inside the game around 30 min, home latency gradually get to 70 and i have home 70 / world 70
13 - Then again join dungeon.
14 - Play 10-20 min inside dungeon and get disconnect.
I thought to fix it.
I removed all blizzard folders in AppData, ProgramData.
I removed WTF, Cash, Interface Folders, got completely fresh game, flush dns etc. and repeated all the steps. result was the same: disconnect from the game with insane high home latency.
In other hand i did the same with character on other low populated realm
and didn’t got disconnect at all.
Other online games like eveonline , world of tank run smoothly. no one get disconnect.
I ask Blizzard to allow me transfer all my mains away from lagging Outland to any low populated realm. Then i will pay subscription for playing.

Started having the same issue few days ago: latency from 300ms to about 800ms but that was WOW averaging it: in reality it was lag spikes where everything freezes every 8-10 sec and then is OK. Speedtest showed excellent results each time. Tonight it was going on my nerves enough so I tried:

desktop in room, where the router is, connecting with asus ac68 usb (same issue)
laptop in different room using another asus ac68 usb (same issue)
resetting router (Asus AC68U) (same issue)
firmware update of the router (same issue)
changing the channel for 2.4GHz and for 5GHz networks (same issue)
connecting both aforementioned computers to mobile phone internet (same issue)

This was the point when I realized it was not about my internet connection. Tried:

lan connection on my 2nd desktop (no issue at all)
disabled asus ac68 usb on my laptop and tried the cheep Intel wifi that came with the laptop (no issue at all)

So it was pin pointed to my two asus cards that are 60e a piece… It was easy to google what was the issue knowing it was about those specific cards: a windows update came that is using the built in location service in the wrong way and it searching for available wifi networks every 8 seconds or so and that is producing those spikes. After i have turned off location service (which was on since I installed windows…)> no issue even with the asus cards.
Maybe this is not the issue others are having but its worth a try: just disable location and see how its working.

Now I can’t even got realm list.
I logging into game.
On characters window I hit Change realm.
Then pop up “Retrieving game realms”
And after 5-10 min waiting I get disconnect error.
Now got connected but home latency more than 3000 ms when world latency is 70!

Its fixed for me. I just checked and i have 60ms as usual.
I dont have any idea about what happened there. I didnt do anything.

ping seems normal but there are spikes and it’s because there is still packet loss and it has nothing to do with blizzard i can assure. buy VPN like service for better routing. i shared my result after VPN called mudfish i don’t care even if it’s not allowed to name vpns it works for these kind of routing problems and costs literally less then 1 dollar. make some research before using it if you ever gonna use.

i have an account on the US servers aswell, Im not getting any disconnections, or any latency issues, for some reason im having latency issues (ping ranges 1000-15000) and its not playable.
