Very long loadscreen

My character screen loads for about 30 seconds. Then, the world loadscreen is another 30 seconds. Of course, each time I /reload or zone into a dungeon or use a boat, it’s another 30 seconds.

My notebook isn’t super-strong but it meets the minimal system requirements; my FPS is usually fine. The most odd thing is that I have SSD, and I heard drive speed is what defines the loading speed.

It was better until few weeks ago. It’s not related to addons because it affects the character screen.

Anyone else having this issue?

I’m also having similar issue from a week back. The loadscreen freezes after it has loaded. I have been told that my character stand ready in dungeons portal but my load screen takes 10-20sec extra. I have a powerful majestic pc.

If I’m tabbed out during the loading screen, it takes forever. When I tab back in, it may go from like 10% to 100% in 3 seconds. Kind of strange.

some addon is filling up your cache/ADB/enUS file.

how big is your DBcache.bin ??

When my got to 18k my loading screen was about 5 sec.

now about 10 days after clearing this file its already back to 10k

For me it seemed to be AUX adding kb’s to the bin.

Wooping 67 MB, and yes I’m using Aux! Is it safe to delete this file and/or whole 450 MB folder? Or will I lose my Aux medians?

I also have AUX addon.

Edit: OHMYGOOD thank you. I tested some load screens, and it took me 24sec to enter a dungeon. Now after I deleted that folder, 4sec.

Thanks man!

I just remained/deleted the whole cache folder. The values from AUX are still saved.

I have a werid file named DBCache.bin9792.tmp that grows to over 200kb directly sometimes. DOnno what that is. When I loggout it stay and is named DBCache.bin.
