I can confirm however that the echoes do indeed drop after the inital drop of 4-6. The drop chance however is abyssal. Even Classic quests have a better and higher chance of dropping the needed items.

Same as above, got 6 with my first pack i killed, got 1 more after like an hour, stuck in 7 now. This is stupid… paying money to get a grind quest

just got 3 more in a dungeon and a boe 
Gotten 11 so far before I logged off.
First drop gave me 6 of them, the ones after that gave me 1 around every 10 or so minutes. They seem to be dropping from mostly humanoid mobs.
Do we know if the transmog works on plate wearing classes ?

I stopped trying and will try again after daily reset tomorrow morning. If i again get like drop of 5 and then nothing for ages i call invisible time gate here and will be cranky. Just pre warning here. 
I gave up on my main after hours of zero echos, logged an alt that I used the boost on, started Naz story and boom. An echo. They do exist. Too bad the quest is not account-wide… xD
Finally got 6 from a mob in Tirgarde after about 30 mins
Didn’t recieve any from two random normals
Did one heroic and nothing
Did a mythic and nothing
Got 4 more (1 per mob) through out the course of an hour of killing random mobs back in Tirigarde again
Beans are currently rustled
I think that only a certain mob drops it try waiting for one to respawn got that in stormsong monastery
I can confirm every heroic raid boss drops 1 save

Nope - did Freehold, Boralus and TolDagor and got 0 from the bosses

Was in a group of 5 ppl, we just farmed the mobs there.
Drops seems to happen on avg of 3-4 min.
Sometime you can go up to 10-15 min (or 20 min) without seen anything, then suddenly you can get 3 in a row within 30 sec!.
But, when i took timer, it seems that they dropped each 3 to 8 min.
Still, funny how ppls first kill give them 3-5, while the rest after that seems to be 1 pr loot.
Still, i belive that the “drop race” is around 3 to 8 min, if you are heavy farming it.
I was in a group as i say, we had a lock in it, when i had just 22, he had 27, then i manage to get up to 27 (while he was stuck at 27)…at the point he manage to get to 28, i was at 32!..but then the drop rate turned around to his favor, he ended up getting a lot while i got none…in the end, he manage to get to 40 (i was at 39), but just 3 min later i got my last.
So, bet the drop is around 3 to 8 min (with a heavy farming group / good spot / none stop killing).
