Its probably not essential… But it does help… I would like a function in chat that allows us to see what time a message has been sent… It can be helpful…

there is more than one add-on for that.
I personally use:
Prat 3.0 for chat
wow instant messenger for whispers
^ this.
It’s already in the game. Without the need for any addon.
