Quite a straightforward question: does anyone know if the weapon enchant Icy Chill will work on Viscidus in AQ40 ?
I am preparing myself with NR stuff etc, and getting ready for the Viscidus fight !

I got my hands on the 1h axe from the scholo litch, it might be better than using an enchant specifically for it. Iirc you just need to deal just 1 frost damage.
Well the idea is to get the stratholm dagger (frost damages), the the alterac valley dagger (ice damage proc), WITH Icy Chill enchant on them AND Frost Oil on it during the fight.

It will. All frost dmg helps, Including weapon procs, enchants and consumables.
Yes indeed, all frost damage helps. But the enchant description does not mention any damage. This is basically my question, as far as I know it should do frost damage to work, not just a frost effect, but I might be wrong.

Doesnât deal damage. Meaningless for viscidus.
You break my heart, but I must say that is what I was thinking as well 
the PPM on that enchant is a joke, no dmg on proc etc.
so aint worth the mats tbh, since it get overwritten by other things.
Just get x2 Coldrage Daggers from Razorfen Down last boss, put some oil on it and you are good
