Can anyone confirm if Icy Chill enchant on your weapon has any effect on freezing Viscidus in classic?
Finding so many contradicting answers when searching.
Why would it have?
My inconclusive understanding is that it may or may not.

there’s no dmg component in the enchant, just a slow effect.
if you look at logs from the fight, not once does it show up.
You need frost dmg, not slow
I know there is no frost damage, but there are sources saying the appliance of the slow effect were also counted for freezing the boss.

I doubt it works. If it does that means frostbolt, frost shock etc would all count as 2 hits (the dmg and the slow effect).
