The title of the thread has been changed from ‘‘Void Elf Light Hair Colours’’ to ‘‘Void Elf Hair Colour Suggestions’’ and picture links have been added

I am aware from commenters in other posts that some are against blonde hair for void elves, but I would like to emphasize that the current hair colours and hairstyles are lacking. The Horde has enjoyed Blood Elves for many many years, and the Alliance has asked for its own version of ‘‘high elves’’ for many years too. We got Void Elves in Legion which we are very happy about, but indeed they were rushed. When Void Elves first came out I instantly fell in love and cannot remember wanting to unlock something in WoW more in my life!

The current hair colours range mostly between shades of blue and dark grey. There is also 1 shade of violet. Personally the dark grey reminds me of grandma hair a tiny bit. It would be great if we could get some shades like:

A single shade of blonde would be great (Belfs have four blonde shades). Let’s let the devs decide on that one. But it would fulfill my dream of Visna, Alliance Warrior Princess a la blonde! They could also add more colours for the tentacles as well to make them more appealing, like white, pink and black glowing tentacles for the existing hairstyles with tentacles to go with the new colours. Either way I simply cannot wait for lighter void elf hair colours and frequently check forums for updates!

I agree i do feel we have the most horrble hair colors in the game. The dark blue is fine but thats it.

A lighter shade of purple, Pure white, and pure black is arguntely needed when custimization comes.

i agree but seeing how much the community is split on this one, and how much drama it causes in EU and US forums, its best to let the devs decide wether to add it or not.

we just need better Hair colors lmao

Yeah I suggest white and void pink where the tentacles are pinkish in color. Also black and maybe a single blonde shade with dark blue tentacles on it.

Black and white would look great on Void Elf. Even if they matched the colour of the tentacles to the actual hair colour that would look miles better too.

Having black hair with the purple skin colours would look really cool!

if void elves should get more colours then it should be more voidy/goth/dark stuff.

tbh i get quite tired of these topics. tauren had like 4 hairstyles for over a decade and are still not able to choose separate hair and skin colours. you dont see us constantly complaining.

allied race customisations were announced further down the road. sometimes you just have to be content with what you got.

You want blonde hair? Take it from the Nightborne we have 3 of them, or you want a white? Take from LF Draenei

You make it sound like any sensible person could possibly be against that. More customizations is always good. :blush:

But yeah, Void elves not having black hair is a crime against elfkind. Honestly, I think they definitely should get access to at least two blonde shades too–with the DK colours unlocked Blood Elves from the RED faction have access to three different shades of BLUE hair (yep, I’m counting the old “black” shade as blue because that thing blue af), and that’s just weird.

This is an interesting idea for a compromise - the blond that so many are asking for, with the distinctly void features that many say would be missing if velves are allowed “normal” hair colours. Void twists on “normal” would be a nice way to keep the distinct racial identity.

Thank you! I think the blonde will make a great antithesis with the dark blue void tentacles and might be fun even! And you know what guys, I think that with the lack of introducing a new class or race in Shadowlands they can at least make up for it with better looks for everyone, and the Allied races need some TLC as they were rushed (esp the Nightborne).

I’d support more hair colours but not blonde.

Simply put, those that want blonde hair, should play horde.

I would be okay with this if they actually added proper hair colors.

Black being the top of the list. If that happens, then yes Blood elves can keep the blonde hair to themselves

At the end Blizzard decides and I really hope they don’t ignore the black hair request cause I might race change to a Draenei or human at this point

Sorry Jakafo but I do not actually care about black hair XD I want some light hair colours for my Void Elf lol. At least 1 or 2 light shades like white and pink or something at the very least xx

I understand Visna.

And honestly lore-wise I don’t see why White hair can’t be available seeing as Alleria has it in her Voidy form. And we have Deathknights. We just gotta be patient for 9.1 and see what happens

Thank you, I think most of the Alliance would be unhappy if we were only given black hair for example, and tbf they should not make players wait 10 years to add some hairstyles and colors… they did that with the worgen that was crazy and sad
