From the last time i recall Blood Elves are not the only Blonde race in the game.
I would be a bit sad for just one hair color too, but Black Hair is already in the files for Void Elves, some NPCs even have it.
I support natural colors in general because the lead designer behind the customization options said in a interview they wanted to add High Elf options for Void Elves with the natural skin colors, so, with that in mind, i would like them to commit to the High Elf customization further and really work to make High Elf fantasy and roleplay more possible with Void Elves
I just want my voidy tentacles to be white. I want to be able to dress in whatever I want and not have to deal with the weird blue tinge that the tentacles get. I love the tentacle hair options, I just wish the tentacles were a bit more versatile.
This was a irony…i have nightborne myself, customization is very poor i know.
They really need to give us more options for the void effect. I want them to be dark purple, almost black.
Like this guy:
And we need more saturated hair colours too. I really dislike how washed out most of the colours look.
It is really high time that customisations across the board were offered to all races, even more than we have now. Its a start in the right place but compared to other games within its genre, WoW is still hanging onto its old roots far too readily.
No you already took our skin tones no more stealing from belfs
It’s really unfair that it was only Horde who got Blood elves in the first place. Now that we finally got Void elves a single shade of white and blonde will not hurt anybody. The alliance is lower in pop than Horde so this will help balance the 2 factions a little.
If you had gotten only a couple of blood elf skin colours I would agree, but that ship has sailed. Now Blizzard has to be very careful not to make blood elves and void elves indistinguishable from one another. Blonde hair, or any other hair colour that is available to blood elves, should not be given to void elves. There should always be a difference between the two races.
Like faction?
Tbh, they should start with fixing their face first.
To look ike this:

The males are even more of a travesty.

Wellll, lorewise you have Humans, Dwarves and Kaldorei to blame for that one I’m afraid. (I swear, when Anduin gets out of the Maw, on every page of his diary he will probably spend some time writing as a daily reminder " Do NOT Let Tyrande or the Kaldorei talk to Neutral People. DO NOT LET HER NEAR DIPLOMACY!"
Her track record is pretty amazing for driving Elven races away from the Alliance and into the Horde…
Problem is, Blood Elves already got utterly shafted with the new Customisations, same as Draenei. Both were promised ‘At least 40 -Unique- customisations’.
Yeah, neither got 40 -Unique- (emphasis on that word) customisations. Some races got amazing stuff, the Troll stuff, Forsaken, Tauren and Orcs, The Dwarves, Maaan, Why can’t we have Farstrider Blood Elves with warpaint and feathers, like we -know- they actually use from WC2 onwards!
-Unfortunately- what then happened was “Here, Void Elves, have some Blood Elf stuff”
Blood Elves “Whoah, wait, you still haven’t given us the full -Unique- customisations for our playable race yet, and you’re giving some of it away to the other Faction? What about the stuff Blood Elves have been asking for?, and whilst we’re at it, I have one conjoined word to say, as to why the void Elves have had quite enough customisation right now, and that is ‘Nightborne’.”
‘Unique’ means Unique to that playable race. The instant it starts getting handed out like smarties so that people can play a player race as an npc race, then it reduces from that total of unique playable races. Blood Elves, like every core race, were promised 40 at least, in practice, we got 29. If anything further ceases to be unique, that number will drop, at which point I trust all these fair minded people in favour of Void Elves getting lighter hair colours (Which I don’t personally mind) will be just as vociferous and active in Blood Elf threads about getting Unique customisation to make up for being the Core race with the least. Farstrider Warpaint and feathers in the hair a la the Dwarves would be swell, as well as Magister Arcane runic tattoos like on the TBC Box art.
So sure, take some more Blood Elf features, as long as you agree to sign up to the threads that Blood Elf players start asking for fair treatment also?
I ofcourse do not mind at all if Belfs get more customizations. My thread however is specifically about Void elves and what can be done about them regarding hair colours when the Allied races get upgrades. If you post a link of the thread where I can leave my ideas on what new hairstyles can be added for Belfs I will do so x.
You made your choice.
Good hair care seems to be lost on the lesser races
would be nice to have some light hair colours, Alleria Windrunner before becoming a void elf had blonde hair, if they brought back her original skin colour blizzard should bring back similar hairstyles too
And what must we give in return…?
…everything.
It’s a lot of things what they could fix or add in a minor patches. For example is a few displaying bugs with so famous blood elfs.
If we compare options available for example for dranei and LFdranei, those 2nd have almost same choice as Nightborne.
I thing ppl would be delighted if they get some small patch with new colors for all races or hair options. Or simple cosmetic head with stupid floating some shape…(only example)
I’ll make another customization request soon
You aren’t as smart as you think you are.
I would add that besides being unique they should also be distinctive. If they were to give our hair colours away to then replace them with unique make-up I would be furious all the same, because those have a very different impact on the aesthetic of your character overall.
If I see Thalassian elves out in the world, I want to be able to tell right away if they are blood elves or void elves. That distinctiveness, that uniqueness is important.
Sorry but what kind of mindset is this ?
Alleria is a Void Elf and she is blonde, Blood Elves do not own blonde hair lmao.
first it was ‘‘if u want High Elves play horde’’ then ‘‘if u want fair skinned High Elves play horde’’ now it is ‘‘if u want blonde hair play horde’’
Pathetic.
Wonder what will people like this come up with next time when void elves get blonde hair, maybe it’ll be ‘iF yOu wAnT eLF aCcSesOrIeS pLaY hOrDe’’
