Alleria is their leadr so they must receive full Alleria’s look as customisation option, and all Thalassian Elves should get the war paint’
Then I would have said “Hell yes.” As I have done. repeatedly, when this subject has been brought up. But I am never going to agree that only Void Elves, or Void Elves who look like High Elves should get the full Alleria treatment, as that makes no lore sense at all. All Thalassians or none. That is my stance on it.

Ehh, you actually can’t. You can get close-ish, but not exactly… I’m trying to think of the racial leaders you -can- look like.
I think it stands at; Rok’han, Lilian Voss (If you roll DK) Gazlowe, Ji Firepaw, Kiro, definately not Thalyssra (I mean you can’t even look like a Nightborne at all, if you roll Nightborne! 
) Aysa Cloudsinger, You can get close, but not exactly like the Council of Three Hammers, and lets not forget they only changed their models recently, Magister Umbric you can get close to, but yeah, that’s pretty much it.
Tyrande has a different look, it’s not just leafy hair, yes, they got Night Warrior look in BfA,
Basically with a few exceptions, you can look -similar- to, but not exactly like, racial leaders, the only ones you -can- look exactly like, are the ones who have not been given their own unique models yet, like Rok’han, Gazlowe, both Pandaren…
You can get pretty close to Baine’s look as well, thinking about it, but not exactly.
