I think it would be a good thing if Belfs got customizations same time as Velfs when the wave of customization comes out for the Allied Races. I think these 2 races should go hand in hand for the avoidance of conflict. Example, hairstyles, hair colors, void tattoos and black eyes / N’zoth eyes for Void elves, and ranger and arcane tattoos, dark ranger style pale skin shade and red glowing eyes for Belfs.
Black color yes, but blonde doesn’t fit Void at all.
I say more tentacles would be the best. Diffrent from belfs and cool looking.

I am not very good with lore but are not all velfs the same ? if not then i apologise ,from my understanding we all come from the same place as belfs and somehow lost having black and blonde hair for reasons.

Nah, Alleria was created in a completely different way than every other Void Elf. With her, she had centuries of training under Locus Walker, and personally devoured the essence of a Dark Naaru. With all other Void Elves they were the victim of a magical accident that happened after the end of Legion (Else Alleria could not have been there) due to the machinations of a nasty Ethereal Nether-Prince called Durzaan. It wasn’t planned. They weren’t even trying to become Void Elves, their existence is a complete accident basically.
They should probably phone some injury lawyer to see if they have a case to make, but given that Durzaan is dead now, I’m not sure who they could sue…

But it is said that she is a Void Elf, I don’t understand why is this argument coming from again?
Alleria took void energy from different source, but she still can transform into her void form like other Void Elves (racial).
I never understood people who don’t want Void Elves to have blonde hair colors, this is a video game after all so why not let people have fun?

People like different things, I personally think that Alleria looks so amazing, and would love to have a Void Elf huntress looking somewhat similar to her.
I also love Voidy customization, I need to level a Void Elf warrior but waiting for Ny’alotha Mythic to be soloable for mog.

Maybe because we already have plenty of void ones? I’d like some n’zoth style eyes and black eyes though, and void tattoos as extra void options. And black, pink and white as tentacle colors. Also a single blonde shade will not hurt anyone. Take it from an Alliance race and add void highlights to it then we’ll be in our theme without being limited to just blue.

Well, there are hair colours that most of us can agree on, such as Stark White, Jet Black and them combined with other colors. Since Allied Races are so far below their CR counterparts on customization 2 hair colors would simply not cut it since CR females have 16+ hair colors each and we only have 8, of which at least 4 look identical with each other. So I would suggest 9 hair colors for us, those being:
- Pure White (like Draenei or LFD white)
- Jet Black
- Black / Fiery orange ombre (starts with black and ends in fiery neon orange from the lower half)
- Blue / White Ombre (a lighter blue shade at the top and switching to white from the lower half)
- Void blonde (couple void blue highlights across the hair for uniqueness and indication of void corruption same time)
- Ash Blonde / blue ombre (top half ash blonde, lower half blue)
- Light Pastel Pink (not fuchsia or bright pink, just a pale pastel pink)
- Brown / black ombre (the lower half of the brown will be darkening into black)
- Multi-coloured: Dark blue, Pastel pink, White and Yellow highlights (for the ladies and chaps who want to be extra trendy :P)

Unfortunately there’s a group of players known as “antis” who are especially active on the US forums who are actively advocating against the addition of natural hair colors to Void Elves, alleging that it would encroach on the Blood Elf racial theme. They’re around 40 people though, whereas we have counted more than 900 people between the High Elf and the Void Elf Discord* servers who look forward to seeing these options implemented. And I’m positive Blizzard has already listened to us and will deliver more natural and voidy customizations for Void Elves.

I wouldn’t waste my breathe. I don’t want to wait until next expansion only for blizzard to add more Grey hair. As long as the antis keep barking, we won’t get anything good.
I was a Void elf main for a while until I race changed. I lost faith in this race and the High elf thing.
There are other games with better Elf customization. Games that actually listen to the fans.

I’m really sorry you felt that way and I am in the same boat. But I have played this game for 14 years and it’s like a long relationship that would be unfair to end like this. I want to switch game for falling in love with another game, not because Blizzard is kicking me away. There are alot of antis who at least support black and white as well as variations of natural hair colors. They’re not all that horrible, but Blizzard needs to find the fine line where we can get natural hair colours but they are still unique and have a Voidy touch to them maybe. A good suggestion has been void highlights, as shown here https://imgur.com/a/Ds1sXPw. Or a void colour other than blue and dark purple, such as red-pink similar to the N’zoth eye, like this https://imgur.com/a/FSj5fCD which can be attached to a natural hair colour as shown on the pic.

Majority want high elf customization, that’s why they ask hair colors for void elves. Alleria is their leader, so they must receive full Alleria’s look as customization option.

The horde hate seeing Blonde hotties on the alliance side. That’s why they throwed a bomb on Jaina which made her hair white. That’s why Anduin’s hair is now white. And that’s why they want Alleria dead. 
I agree with you 100%. Dealing with certain antis though can get very tiresome, mainly because of their constant headcanon and passive aggressiveness.

Hair colours yes. Alleria’s full look, no. She’s a racial leader for goodness sake. Very few racial leaders can be duplicated as a player character (Which is probably for the best…)

I mean why not? Yes the unique hairstyle braid can remain unique for her along with her armor. But tattoos is just tattoos. It’s a Thalassian thing according to Warcraft 2. So both void elves and Blood elves should get elven tattoos like Alleria in different colors.
Actually you can look exactly like the racial leader (with a few minor diffrences) for majority of the characters.
With Shadowlands, Blood elves can look exactly like Lor’themar.
With Shadowlands, Night elves got leafy hair, moon jewelry, and night warrior eyes similar to Tyrande.
With Shadowlands, Dwarves got similar customization to both the Bronzebeard leader and the Wildhammer leader.
With Shadowlands, worgens can now look more like Genn.
And I’m not mentioning sylvanas simply because she’s not the same race as the playable undeads model wise and she’s not the forsaken leader anymore. Now it’s Lillian Voss and anyone can look like her with Shadowlands.
In conclusion, majority of the races can actually look like their leaders in Shadowlands, aside from a unique transmog and hairstyles not available. That’s it.
I’m sure when Nightborne get their customizations they will look more like Thallysra too as they will 100% get slanted eyes given it’s a high request.
