Void Elf Hair Colour Suggestions

im actually surprised that they cant look like their leader Alleria YET…well, definitely they will add full Alleria customization option.

I’ve been thinking that since we get no new classes or races this expac (we have been getting either new races or a new class most of the times) they might as well focus on putting a lot more shine on the existing races. It doesn’t all need to be done in one go, give a little to everyone I guess and build on it as the patches keep coming.

we miss alleria outfit as a tmog
and more hair styles for VE and belf

Her outfit is very similar to the green colored Nighthold transmog.

And the bow is Green version Thas’Dorah

i have those on my hunter
but i think the chest is different somehow

I just feel like most people who keep asking for blonde void elves won’t be happy until High Elves are added as a seperate race for alliance. They made the same excuses before they added pale skin and now that they have pale skin they want blonde hair. Then when they get blonde hair they will probably want some new racials that thematically fit with HE and then maybe some new heritage armour and a mount… they just want high elves.

It would be interesting to know how many would really be happy with just blonde hair and nothing more. I browse this forum almost every day and i constantly see posts about blonde hair VE and/or high elves. Many people have moved on and are happy with void elves but there are still those out there who just want high elves for alliance and won’t stop until they’re added seperately.

Not to mention that i think we ought to sort out priorities. VE just got some new customization options inc the pale skin that was begged for yet Nightborne males still look like Nosferatu and only the females are somewhat passable. They look nothing like the NPC’s yet they have awesome lore and (imo) the best questline in the game so they deserved way better.

Even if we consider blonde hair for VE there are still races like Nightborne that are in desperate need of new options. We also need to finish the heritage armours for the remaining races.

I can ASSURE you that ALL I care about is the darn hair! And yes I agree Nightborne needs customizations.

I agree that void elves don’t belong at the beginning of the queue, and other races truly do deserve more attention and more effort first. I also really want full high elf options for void elves, high elves being the intention behind the new options after all. But I’m willing to wait. It’s been a rough year, and there are lots of features in this game that needs to be taken care of. Blizzard has done a great job with so many of the existing customisation options, and with Shadowlands altogether. That being said, asking for features early on doesn’t mean that void elf players necessarily try to cut in line. Just that we’re putting it out there, for Blizzard to be aware of when the time comes.

Front of the alliance Queue goes to us please.

We didn’t get ANY of the original draenei new options despite sharing the model (looks at mag’har orcs and original orcs), no tail length, no jewellry, nothing.

We have three skin colours: white, grey and grey-blue. Much wow.

We have no eye colour options.

We have five hair colour options: white, white with a kiss of blue, white with a kiss of pink, blonde and white that is a bit brighter.

We have 6 hairstyles, 7 if you count bald

We have 6 facial hair options if you count “none”.

For no reason, we have about 33% less tendril options than regular draenei.

So yeah, we’re waiting side by side with the nightborne in the queue thanks. However Nightborne can go first as their model was a broken promise and ours wasn’t, but ours is still in need of much love. Here’s my view of how the queue looks:

Nightborne
Lightforged
Hightmountain Tauren
Dark Irons
Mechagnomes
Kul Tiran
Vulpera
Void Elf
Zandalari Trolls
Mag’har Orcs

LFD should get more customization options, as we are lacking them heavily, VE got their already, they can wait until next expansion or more.

Even basic stuff would be welcome. Like very basic stuff.

Eyes: why can’t we have white eyes? Why do Belf, with their short history of Light chummage get like 3 yellow tones and we only get one? Surely it’s possible to give us even as little as 5 eye colours that are variations on the yellow-white spectrum.

Skin Colour: Since when did the Light remove all your colour? I get not making us blue/green, fine. Why not yellowish-whites? Goldish colours? heck even lighter browns?

Hairstyles: OG draenei have shown, the imagination is there, just give us some more too. Now Og draenei males and females have shown they can also sport “big horns” (which used to be a LFD thing) we should have more styles similar to theirs as well more lot key crest ones (males can only have one-two styles that have a flattish crest, the rest are all horned)

Facial Hair: yeah, again, OG has shown you can do this, so do it. OG have like 4 sideburn styles, we have 1.

Other details: Okay so we don’t want to look just like Og draenei and I get that. So no to the jewellry and hair ornamentation. Vanities a solider may not have. So how about facial tattoos? Our tattoos may as well not exist, same for our back jewellry. What about little metallic adornments on our faces too in a style not dissimilar to nightborne? Resting above the ear for example?

Hair: okay so you’ll be limited here as I get it, apparently the light dilutes all colour (like bleach apparently). So why not a few more greys, or different shades of blonde? See those void tendril effects on velf hair? Yeah why can’t we get a light version with maybe different colour options (if we’re not to be be given different hair colours) for example golden tips, silvery tips, white tips etc.

I get that the LFD concept is hard to distinguish for draenei but the above is some very basic stuff they can do to just make us stand out that little bit and feel less samey. That said I do like LFD A LOT (their racial armour is so amazeballs, except the helm clipping on males for beards, wth) and they look amazing in the game and I wouldn’t trade my nuke racial for any amount of gold- but it would be cool to make my little army of LFD alts (they’re all males, because males need love as female overplayed) look a bit more different from each other.

Vulpera did, they got new eye colours and setup on their ears (separation of options in jewellry)

Nightborne got absolutely nothing

Lightforged got absolutely nothing.

Dark Iron Dwarves got absolutely nothing.

The rest either got eye colours or more besides, so by this logic, the above three are “first” in the queue as they got no changes whatsoever whereas other races at least got more flex on options they have and eye colour changes.

Lightforged still cannot choose their beard and moustache seperately. They can’t change their tail length despite this being added to draenei, a race they are based off, whereas mag’har picked up every jewellry cusotmisation core orcs got. This is on top of many of their options being very small and limited anyway just like Nightborne (3 skin options that look very similar, 5 hair colours which are basically all the same except the blonde).

best will be they bring it up on blizzcon 2021 in Feb "New customizations for allied races as NIghtborne , Lightforged and Dark Iron Dwarves. " we will stand in spot light like super stars and Void Elves will be a lesser allied race just becourse they got their customizations start of SL already .

so no more customizations void elves atleast in 1 year

We have had absolutely no hair customizations added to us since Legion. That puts us in the exact same priority as LFD with regards to HAIR. If you have nothing positive to suggest other than waiting for another couple years I think you should make a separate post asking for LFD customizations rather than being toxic in other people’s posts.

Steady on, they were being perfectly polite in their posting there, and just highlighting the disparity in customisation some races got as opposed to others. No need to go calling them ‘Toxic’ when…really, they have only made measured and polite posts…

To ask a huge community who has been eagerly awaiting high elves on alliance for 13+ years to wait several more years when it is clearly known we have got absolutely no new hair customizations on void elves has a certain level of inherent toxicity to it, and is tottaly unnecessary. We all want and deserve customizations. Did I tell anyone that their race does not deserve more customizations for a couple years? No.

I am only about that they already got many new options, while others did not get anything, thus elves can wait more.

This! 10000 times this!

No. When voiced politely and calmly it does not have a level of inherent toxicity in the slightest. Words should never be overused to the point that they lose their currency, else they simply become meaningless and can be ignored with equanamity. ‘toxic’ is one such word, people throw it around with such reckless abandon when what they mean is “Someone who does not agree with me”, that eventually using the word will in itself become a source of mockery.

Void Elf fans can afford to wait, whilst those who got nothing, get their share. That is simple politeness and parity of treatment. Light Hair Colours? Sure. Get in the queue behind Nightborne though, they’re still waiting for their original models to be finished.
