One of the Void Elf’s racial abilities, “Ethereal Connection” Reduces the cost of Void Storage by 50%.

Recently, Blizzard announced that Void storage will be removed in the new Ghosts of K’aresh patch.
My question is: since the advantage this racial gives to Void Elves over other races will be removed, are we going to get anything in return, or is this incentive to play a Void Elf simply going to be removed?

is it rlly tho? was ribbon racial at best, i think total amount of gold saved with this throughout void elf race is less gold than most single ppl earn from doing weekly quests
Well, it doesn’t really matter how small of an incentive to play Void Elves it was - it was still a tangible incentive. I don’t ask to get anything game breaking as a replacement. I’m only asking if an existing incentive will be replaced by anything at all, or if we’ll just have to bit the bullet and be less incentivised to play Void Elves than we currently are.

Mine has one and a half tabs of stuff in it.
50% off transmog is the real benefit, though I’d prefer if we didn’t have to pay for mogs or had a template system.

Yes, some racial traits are easy to forget about, but first of all: as this thread shows, some people still use the Void Storage feature, and more generally: the fact that some traits are minor doesn’t mean that it’s ok to stealth nerf/remove them without any reason or giving anything in return.
Doubt even the human racial was replaced the rep buff and got replaced by 2 HS cd’s

These other Void Elf racials are worth it 
I’m not sure if I understand correctly - You expect that Void Elves are going to get something in return for losing void storage cost reduction?
Probably going to happen, it will not be something “flamboiant” but surely they will out something.
Like 1% moviment speed bonus when inside a shadow 
I really hope You are right! Personally I’m more concerned about the lore implications of this racial trait and I’d like to see something that, like the current racial, reinforces the notion about the connection between Void Elves and Ethereals. Small discount with Ethereal merchants, some minor reputation bonus with Ethereal factions - that sort of things.
