I think this is what I miss the most when it comes to vulpera characters. Few players emphasize the ruthless cunning this race must possess to have survived in a land so hostile that even the âtop tierâ troll race fears it.
Add to this that they donât have the advantage of an extremely long lifespan and many powerful magical artifacts like the tortollan do. The scrappy buggers have just as much if not more fight in them than the other Horde races.

Pretty much this. Vuplera have no real reason to exist as a playable race other than fanservice for furries. Iâve seen races that never made it past a single expansion with more thought out and interesting backgrounds than Vulpera, and there are plenty of other established races that people have wanted for the longest time. Doesât help that theyâre basically reskinned, furry goblins that look pretty ridiculous and cartoony as well, which attracts the kind of players that act like such.

itâs almost player races are added based on what people will actually play.
Vulpera got crazy numbers, so evidently that worked. Meanwhile stuff that people were totally clamouring for, Dark Iron for example, have mediocre numbers at best.
They say they want it but they donât.
Pretty sure dwarves overall have had low numbers ever since racials donât really matter too much. The fact that people hate furries so much means youâd probably have a lot of people picking Vulpera just to troll as well.
yeah and blizz catered to them anyway, and it paid off exactly 0.
Thatâs kinda the point I was making. All these supposedly more interesting or more desired races wouldnât actually generate a playerbase, at all.
(also theyâre mostly really not that interesting to begin with)
'Cause races nowadays donât mean too much, most of them donât impact the gameplay all that much, so most people will just pick whatever they think looks the nicest to them.
Or, get this, it is a cool race that people like.

Ah yes, because everyone is a hivemind, I forgot.
Well yeah most people would try to make their character look cool or attractive, but some people will try to make their character as silly as possible, hell there are some who might even try to make a character that resembles them. Nothing wrong with making a character look the way you like, but people will always judge anyway, and thereâs nothing inherently wrong with that.
It does appear that a lot of people hate Vulpera for many different reasons, so what point are you trying to make? That some people do like them? Thatâs kind of obvious if you consider people do play them is it not?
