My guilds name was reported enough times to get a forced name change. The only way to get the guild renamed is to ticket a GM with a new name, ive been waiting almost a week with no reply and its killing the guild, ive had almost half my members leave since my guilds name has been stuck with the name they gave it.
If they leave over a guild name which will be sorted soon then they are not the players you want in your guild to leave over a trivial thing.
Hope it gets sorted soon for you .
I would be more worried how your remaining guild members act on the forum

You mean there is something wrong with your guild name? I can’t see it myself. Guild names are not changed just because they are reported, they have to be breaking the rules as well.
Isn’t it quicker to leave and make a new one and tell everyone to rejoin?

The only thing this tells me is that almost half of your members were randoms who didn’t really care about your guild.

Personally if people leave because the guildname aint fancy enough…

I honestly can’t imagine the name the system gave it to be worse than that.
Support for Classic isn’t as well-implemented besides the automated systems we already know. There’s more threads around with people trying to get in contact with a GM or something… seems like Blizz isn’t really on top of things for Classic… or they’re just swamped with tickets.
I meant I can’t see what is wrong with it, not I can’t see his guild name.
The thing is reporting a guild name is not the same as making a ticket and the name is not breaking any rules. The OP thinks enough reports will get him a guild name change.

I took a look into that since a week does sound a bit long, but from what I’m seeing here, your ticket’s been open for a little under 3 days, and the current wait time shown when making a ticket is estimated at a bit more than that currently due to how many people are reaching out. Your ticket will be reviewed in due time
And to everyone else wondering, the GM team applies a random Guild name if one is reported and found to be a violation of our Code of Conduct, leading to the string of random letters that you see up there

Random names? oh i can imagine how would i troll abusive guild names if i were GM 
Unicorns of the Rainbow, or Im Gonna Tell Mom etc. haha
I’ve told people a million times not to exaggerate. 
I dunno, I think Guild BQZBJ has a nice ring to it.
